Pants - Has Anyone Seen My Pants? fairly self-explanatory from the title, fits with the "Pantless" part of this task, there's a scene where she wanders around a hotel without any pants on.

35559 Depositing 3 coins for the Leprechaun read-a-thon, for answering all Day 10 questions, posted here
35559 1: Where & When do you read most?
Don't tell my boss, but lately I've been reading mostly at work. For some reason my job has slowed down dramatically and all my tasks come in late in the afternoon, so I get a lot of free time in the morning to read! That will change soon, I'm sure, so I"m taking advantage of it when i can!

2: Are you a "real" book reader, or ebook reader? Both?
A little of both. Typically real books, since I'm not allowed to have any electronics at work, but I enjoy my Kindle for trips and such, so I usually have one of each going at a time.

3: Do you listen to audiobooks?
Just discovered audiobooks! I like feeling like I'm not wasting my commute, or wasting time when I'm stuck in traffic. But I don't like how the narrator's voice can affect my opinion of the story for the worse at times.

4: Do you have any "bad" bookish habits?
Probably sticking with books that I really don't like. LIfe too short to waste on a book I'm not enjoying.

5: What are you currently reading?
Shiver (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater
And I'm hoping to get either A Gathering of Shadows (Shades of Magic, #2) by V.E. Schwab or Red Rising (Red Rising, #1) by Pierce Brown from the library soon!

35559 Fun facts!
1) When I was in college, I was in an episode of Dawson's Creek.
2) I'm a certified scuba diver, though it's been forever since I've had a chance to go diving
3) I'm training to run a marathon this fall
4) I picked MSU to win the NCAA tournament this year...and they lost their first game. sigh.

Q32. What did you think about Jess’s journal with the alchemy and that whole situation?

Agh! This drove me crazy, it seemed so obvious. Why else would they encourage journal-keeping from everyone if not to track what they're doing. Struck me as really naive to expect that to be kept private.

Q33. Morgan was caught and locked up, did you see this coming? Will she forgive Jess?
Yep, definitely. I imagine that relationship will get developed further in the sequel

Q34. Urgh! Those dang journals and the Library! Thomas is dead, your thoughts?
Logically it makes sense. They kept Wolfe alive but obviously regretted doing so. If someone else, especially under Wolfe's purview, was caught doing the exact same thing, there's no way they'd leave him alive. Still, very sad, and it's always a surprise when a major character like that dies.

Q35. Jess has been placed away from the library and demoted, how do you feel about this?
He got lucky. It could have been so much worse, given what they knew about his family and what he's done himself. Maybe not ideal professionally, but much safer for him overall. And I'm guessing he finds a way to make it work for him.

Q36. The note to Jess from Thomas, what will come of the plans Thomas left for Jess?
I think Jess will try to build it himself ultimately. (At least with the help of others)

Q37. Did you enjoy the book? Who is your favorite character? Will you read book 2 of the series, Paper and Fire when it's released?
I liked it better in the beginning, then found the many intrigues slightly confusing by the end. There are so many different kinds of enemies out there, it was sometimes hard to follow who was doing what and why. I'm really not sure about Paper and Fire, I might wait and see what kind of reviews it gets.
35559 I can do 3:30-4pm and 4-4:30pm

Historical Fiction
Atonement by Ian McEwan Wolf Hall (Thomas Cromwell, #1) by Hilary Mantel The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle by Avi
35559 1: What Genres do you read most?
Oh man lots. I like horror, thrillers, mystery, historical fiction, YA, science fiction (particularly dysoptia or post-apocalyptic), sometimes non-fiction if it's not too dry.
2: What Genres do you read least, or not at all?
Romance
3: Are you a reader that reads just about everything, or a select few genres?
There's a lot that I enjoy, and even if it's not a genre I typically read, if it gets good reviews, I might give it a shot anyway.
4: Has your reading evolved in recent years, or at all?
I used to read exclusively non-fiction.
5: How do challenges or read-a-thons affect your reading?
It depends. I have a lot of books on my TBR list, so I may try to pick books based on challenges, but I don't read books that I wouldn't normally just to fit a challenge.

35559 Discussion Questions 17 March 2016. Chapters 9-12

26. Poor Morgan, seeing her father and he is trying to “save” her by killing her. Do you think the Burners got to him? Or is he insane?

Probably a combination. I'm guessing the Burners let him know what was going to happen to his daughter, and that made him distraught and vulnerable.

27. Jess tells Morgan to ask his father for help if she is able to escape the library in London. Do you think his father would help her? From what I’ve read so far about Callum Brightwell I don’t think he will.
If he sees some benefit to him. Maybe if Jess manages to let him know that helping Morgan is necessary for his ongoing cooperation and access at the Library?

28. Wow Santi and Wolfe. Did you suspect they are more than just friends?
Sort of. When he mentioned his "lover", it implied there was something illicit going on, so that's not too surprising.

29. There is so much going on in this book. The war between the Welsh and the English (we still don’t know what that’s all about), Burners attacking the library, a lot of intrigue from the leaders of the library. I’m starting to have some trouble keeping it all straight. How about you? Do you like many storylines or do you like to focus on one thing?
I think this is done well. The main storyline is kept pretty clear while the others are just hinted at in bits and pieces. I think it works well to add a bit more depth to the story and doesnt take it too far.

30. The library must really want Morgan and Wolfe, they blow up their own train to get to them by way of the Burners. I didn’t see that one coming. Did you expect the library to use Burners to do their dirty work? With who else are they working?
I just finished another book that had a very similar storyline, the powerful group using the rebels to do their dirty work, so that was actually not much of a surprise. It does seem to be an excessive reaction, if the goal really is just to get Morgan. The correspondence made it seem like Wolfe was just secondary, not the real objective. But maybe I'm wrong.

31. This book is really action packed. Today’s section had me on the edge of my seat and I’m hoping for a nice relaxing chapter. Do you like all this constant action or would you like to have some quiet moments?
Well, since we're now at the final chapters, I'd doubt we're going to any get relaxing chapters. And I prefer books that are action packed like that anyway, they go faster. :)

Thanks Karsyn! I hadn't even seen that board, will check that out!
35559 Is there a single place we should be tracking all our coins? Some are tracked in the Road to St Patrick's completed goals, some are in the LRPG page, some are in the other threads, I'm starting to get confused about how many coins I have overall.
