Fire with Fire could go in between The Girl Who PLayed with Fire and Fire Point (I think that's what Laura's book was called)

Just double checked the rules, and apparently we can't ignore A/An/The in the beginning....so "A Place to Call Home" would only work if the previous book ended in "A" (unlikely), or if someone else has a book that starts with "Home".

So looks like I'll have to go back and edit my list of possible books...

okay yes one leg planned."

We need two sets of 3, 5, and 7, so this will work for a complete leg, or we can keep going, if someone has a book that starts with "Gift"

Excellent, I'll make sure I bring those three (I'll bring plenty of others but those will definitely make the cut!) Or maybe I should just bring an extra suitcase for my books :)

35559 Laura wrote: "Karen how long are you gone on vacation and will you have acess to post and check in with the thread?"

I'll be gone for about a week and a half, but I'll be at my parents' house for most of it, so I'll definitely still be able to post and check in. I just won't have access to my normal library to pick up new books. If something is available on ebook I could get it, but those usually end up being the books with the longest wait lists.

Ok great, thanks! I can't access the spreadsheet from work, but it seemed like those points might add up faster than expected if anyone read longer books. Good to know!

Thanks Laura, this is helpful! So if I'm reading this correctly, then there's no benefit to us fulfilling additional tasks?

Also, in re-reading the points rules, I had forgotten that there's a maximum number of bonus points we can get. Are there any tasks that we're close to maxing out our bonus points (so we should not read bonus books for that task?)

Kalyn, I'm going to try to get one more in before Friday, and was thinking about The Last Girl - we could both do task H3 (a book with a 3-word title)

I love horror. :)

I'm also working on Tricked, which can fit with a bunch of things. Looks like the best option might be the sci-fi (B10) since that only needs one more person on it. (Going with the strategy that it's better to close out tasks instead of start new ones...but could also go with YA (A6, A7) or Contemporary (A8))

I should be able to manage at least one more task before the end of the Battleship phase. I have a bunch of options at home so I'll see what we need once I'm done with Tricked.
