Letters: B (author last name - Dan Brown), R (character first name - Robert Langdon), O (title - Origin), W (character first name - Winston)
Ok, a little later start than I planned but I'm starting Origin now which works for at least B, R, & O.Then tomorrow I'll be picking up Books Can Be Deceiving which works for at least B & N.
These two will be my last two for week 3. Since I'll likely finish them by lunchtime tomorrow, I'll get an early start on my first book for week 4.
I'll have more reading time for week 4 as I don't have work Thursday and Friday due to the holiday. Plus I don't have to travel for the holiday since my parents are hosting Thanksgiving this year and they live less than 5 minutes from me.

Yes, I would say those are cornbread muffins"
Okay, good. I will pick the book up at the library this weekend.
It's annoying to read a sixth book in a series without having read the others, but alas the wheel demands it.
Completion PostBook: The Novel Art of Murder
Author: V.M. Burns
Date: 11/15/18
Pages: 256
Letters: B (author last name - V.M. Burns), R (character first name - Ruby Mae Stevenson), W (character first name - Samantha Washington), N (title - The Novel Art of Murder)
Wow finding cornbread on the cover is difficult.Does the basket of muffins below the turkey on this cover look like cornbread muffins or have I gone crazy after looking at 20 million cozy mystery covers? If it does, my library has this book and I can pick it up.

"I must be missing something, where is there cornbread on that cover?
I'll be reading Origin on Friday, so we'll have an O there for a later spelling. Just have a couple other books to read before I can get to that one.
Completion PostBook: An Unexpected Christmas
Author: Shannon Richard
Date: 11/13/18
Pages: 266
Letters: R (author last name - Shannon Richard)
So I was looking at our team's spreadsheet (not the tracking sheet, but the official one), and I noticed that for toughest letters for week 3, it's not totaling correctly at the bottom. It shows we completed 2 O's but our total for the week is zero. Also, just an FYI that toughest is misspelled on the same sheet.
Completion PostBook: Inferno
Author: Dan Brown
Date: 11/10/18
Pages: 463
Letters: B (author last name - Dan Brown), R (character first name - Robert Langdon)
Bonus: I think the bonuses were claimed by others but if word in text or MPG are needed then this works for both of those.
Ok now that we have less than two hours until week three starts and I'm done my errands for the day, I'll pick up my first book for week three.I'm going to start with a reread of Inferno by Dan Brown as I'd like to finally read Origin for the first time at some point this week.
After I finish Inferno I'll be picking up two ARCs I need to get to, The Novel Art of Murder by V.M. Burns and An Unexpected Christmas by Shannon Richard.
Beyond those three books I haven't really decided on a TBR for the week so I may just wing it.
Alright so I overestimated how much time I would have for reading today, so while I did get to The Drowned Girls (yay 60 points), I'm not going to get to Furyborn this week.So with The Drowned Girls I'm done for this week's challenge. I'm going to look and see if I can get a sort of game plan together for next week's word.
Completion PostBook: The Drowned Girls
Author: Loreth Anne White
Date: 11/9/18
Pages: 526
Letters: L (author first name - Loreth Anne White), W (author last name - Loreth Anne White)
Completion PostBook: The One You Can't Forget
Author: Roni Loren
Date: 11/8/18
Pages: 395
Letters: O (title), R (author first name - Roni Loren), L (author last name - Roni Loren), W (character first name - Wes Garrett)
So this week somehow flew by and I don't know how it's almost over already.Tonight I'll be picking up The One You Can't Forget which works for a few letters thankfully. I'm sad this is only 6 pages short of the next page point bracket, but what can you do.
Then tomorrow I'm off work as there was a recall on the airbags in my car so I'll be spending some time at the service center. I should get a decent chunk of The Drowned Girls done then and I'll finish it after getting home.
Then I might have time to get to Furyborn between tomorrow night and Saturday. I am a bit busy on Saturday starting around noon until dinnertime, so hopefully I'll be able to finish it before then.
This is a bit ambitious since two of those books are just over 500 pages, but man I want those good page points.
Judith wrote: "Melanie wrote: "I don't know if I have any books that will fit the bonuses this week other than 2 Dan Brown books that fit MPG, which it looks like you have covered with the same book Judith.I'm ..."
Yes, his books fly by which is great as they tend to be long. I may pick up Inferno (reread) and then Origin next week anyway since they fit a few letters and are good for 40 points each.
Ok so apparently I have a ton of O books, I just didn't realize since most of them are physical books and I've been reading a lot of ebooks for this challenge.I'll have to try and focus on physical books more next week, not as much time for them this week.
