I hate that ranking system by the way. It's so abstract, and testing levels is so unreliable to me.

I do take it as a good sign. I'm just a bit disappointed because that other job doesn't sound as exciting. But, hey. I guess I can't be too picky about my first job. We all have to start somewhere. I wasn't into it for the long run anyway. I'm just trying to gain some experience here.

Okay so I ended up calling them... He told me I was too unexperienced for his department, but that he gave my file to his collegue from another department to see if they can take me...
So there it goes. All that stressing out, for not much. They're going to send me an e-mail tomorrow morning, about that other job.

Meanwhile my cat is just sleeping peacefully on my bed. I wish I were a cat. Of course I would miss reading, but they have such an easy life.

I know. You're probably right. But my stupid brain is the best when it comes to imagine the worst scenarios... So I'm stuck in "what if"s the whole day, and night. Because of course I didn't sleep right....
I'm starting to wonder if I should call them myself. Like, "hey, I'm here. I hope you didn't forget about me?"
To me it could go two ways: either they're impressed I'm so eager to work with them I couldn't wait for their call OR they're annoyed that I didn't follow instructions and wait for their call.

Ugh, I hate when they use other books/authors to market their books. Don't they want people to like the book for itself? I mean, if they just tell the readers "if you love that, you'll love this", it just invites comparison and they never live up to it. Never !

It's nearly 4pm and I still haven't been called back for that job.... And I know their office close at 5.30 pm. I'm starting to wonder if they're actually going to call me back.
It's been a stressful day. It's the first time I'm in that situation. I've been glued to my phone all day, and that's quite extraordinary for me. I'm not able to concentrate enough to read either. It's just horrible.

I think I'll be able to meet my goal of 5 books this week.

It's simply the best team!

Alright, I'll wait to see what they say. Anyway I need to finish my books for the tricky animals before I can even start reading that.

I've made some progress in my Golden Oriole book, Riders. This book is ridiculous, and ridiculously addicting. The characters are just so over the top. Especially Rupert. OMG, that man. He's the worst and the best character of the book. I find myself laughing every time he says something aweful. Which is all the time really.

Question: Are we allowed to read fanfiction for this challenge? I can't remember. Because there's this series I really want to continue at some point that just gets crazy big. (POINTS!!!)
Comes Out of Darkness Morn is book three, and they get even bigger.
just FYI, the page count is no exageration. It really is that long. I'm just saying because I've seen fanfic on goodreads where the pagecount were way off. Not this one.

That's the best reason to be happy. I was so relieved when I finished mine. Writing it must have been that hardest thing I ever accomplished.
