Game of Thrones. I read it a few years ago and know there is a ton of food in the books. They did make a cook book based on them.

Is it bad that I have watched the video a few times and read all the instructions and I am still confused about how to post everything.

On the good side I have a chonk at 800+ pages for my first book with a bunch of food mentions. I am hunting for others and trying to keep it to a minimum of 500 pages.

The internet works! Woo Hoo! we made it here and it is lovely. I have a chair on the porch where I can curl up with a good book and a cup of tea.

I like it. I am just giving you ladies a heads up. My family and I are leaving on vacation tomorrow and we will be back on October 1. (by vacation I mean we are going to our cabin where the closest neighbor is the local eagles) There is internet there so no worries, i will just be hopping on every couple of days instead of 2-3 times daily.

I have a pile of books going with me and I have a few ideas scavenger things to read for. If there are any suggestions of something I could poke my nose into I would love it. I read pretty fast and have no problem taking down a 1000 page chonk. I will check in tomorrow or tuesday when I get all set up.

I really enjoyed it. I have read the series twice now and it is a really different take on what I think as science fiction.

No, no pictures. I kept them in the carriers while there. I did leave a huge tip to the people working there. They gave me little cups so they could have some water and some sausage. Spoiled babies they are.

I really like it. Ancient Rome is one of my favorite periods of history. I plan on keeping this one and will read it again. I hope to get the rest of the series tonight and reading through them for the rest of the summer.

What do you do when the fire alarm goes off at 1 AM. Grab the cats, grab a book and GTFO. Lucky that the local Timmy's was open and didn't care about 2 angry fur balls in carriers.
