Thank you. That means I have a little over 2 day. I can churn out 3-4 books. Will post on the sheet as I finish.

Is the round officially over Friday or Saturday?

I have 2 more that I am going to finish this week other than the one I have marked down. I will add them tonight. I might have time for one or two more since I am off work for the rest of the week.

Woot! so that is one bonus covered since it has over 4000 tags as humour also.
Also if anyone wants to buddy read it I am all for it!!!

Just wondering would you say this is 50% black? I don't know

Samhein Blessings everyone. Stay safe and enjoy all your treats.

Jenny I have added all of these to my TBR. Thank you! I think my vote is for Once There Were Wolves. IF they don't pick it I will read it anyway.

It is probably the last sunny Saturday in Vancouver for the year. I am excited to have my last book club BBQ. We are planning out what to read for the next few months. Does anyone have any suggestions for me I would appreciate it, we are an eclectic group and I am out of ideas.

Full disclosure - I'm not a huge sci-fi reader but I'm like 100 pages in and feel like I'm just treading water.
And also, I must confess..."Dune is very dense and he is Tolkien like in his information dump. If you feel that way 100 pages in it might not be the book for you.

Woot! High-five to everyone.
9 points, Glad I have a pile of chonks to read for this round
I also heard from my book club and we are reading a huge historical fiction book that fits for an 'E' for this round.
Jenny wrote: "I only read the first three of them. Have you read any of the later Dune books? Are they worth it? (At least the ones that Frank Herbert actually wrote?)"I have read the entire series plus most of the ones his son has written. In my opinion I would stop after books 3/4. After that everything drags a lot. Some of the later books are ok, most due to Kevin J. Anderson.
If you want something interesting and are into audio books there is this. I love it because I am a Dune fangirl. It is parts of Dune read by Frank Herbert. I know it is available on Audible.

Great job team!"OOO Good idea. I should give it a re-read. I love the Dune series and completely forgot the movie was already out.

TGIF!!!!!
I have one book left and about 20 hours. I will try to dig up another one to finish before noon tomorrow.

Well I was planning on sleeping tonight but I guess the world had different ideas. Fire alarms are going off and we have evacuated. Heading to a coffee shop and will have some tea and shove my face in a book.

I have added the 4 books I can read in this round to the tracking sheet. I have the next few days off so all I will be doing is reading. If I can squeeze in one more I will try.

I should finish Edge of Eternity by tomorrow morning at the latest. I can probably pound out 3-4 more in the remaining few days. I will add them to the sheet. and keep you posted.

Good morning. Just an update. After a very long labor the little gent arrived at about 6 this morning. I use the term little loosely as he was 9 pounds 4 oz. Mum and baby are great. I am going to go take a nap.

I stayed up all last night and read a 900+ page book. I am currently in the hospital with a friend waiting on her baby to arrive. He is taking his sweet time and I am now reading her book 2.

Finished my first chonk and added it to the tracking sheet. On to my next one.
