Congrats Team!!! I hope to see you in another challenge. Have a Happy Holiday

Happy Birthday Keely!!! Nice to know a fellow December baby!

Coming in with my last book with 1 hour to spare. I stayed up late and made some cocoa and read while it was snowing. What is it about snow that makes everything seem magical.
I am off for my birthday surprise. Hubby rented a wheelchair and we are going for a private shop at my favorite used book store. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

I laughed pretty hard when I read this."You laugh now. I am 2 double lattes into my night. With enough coffee I can rule the world.

I am about 400 pages from finishing my next book and I have one more on deck. I can probably squeeze in a third if I drink enough coffee.

It was great getting to know everyone else. I am sure I will see you all in future challenges.
M - I just have to ask, how the hec..."Books are my main entertainment. I don't own a TV. I have always read a lot. I guess it is years of practice. I also don't sleep much.

This has been such a fun challenge. I enjoyed being on a team with all of you and I hope we are teamed up again in the future. Wheel is always a blast.
Thank you to the captains for doing an AWESOME job.
And a light hearted thank you to mu cat for laying me out and letting me just lay on the couch and read. I am glad your plan worked to keep me home to cater to your needs.

[book:Islandia|897..."I thought it was amazing. I love details in a book and the author made an entire society that I want to go back to. I am going to keep my copy and read it again, I know that. So happy I found it .

Just posted a double whammy to the SS. Barely slept last night tearing through books 7 & 8 of this series. Now I shall nap and hun down book 9 tomorrow.

Keely that is so cute. My cat will play in bags all day.

We got our first snow of the season. It was not much and didn't stick around, but still really pretty. I broke out the good hot chocolate and blanket. Now I am trapped on the couch because the cat is sleeping on me and is to cute to move.

Almost the end of the round. I have 1 more to finish.
Next round is going to be fun. I have the Game of Thrones Boxed set to work through.

I am a hoarder and I have a series of 6 with the MC named Xenophon. Bad this is they are about 300 pages each.
I can probably find something else in my sci-fi shelf

I hope you feel better soon Angela. The flu is no fun. I have fallen victim to the Audible sale, I now have enough books to keep me out of trouble for a while.
I am reading a lot but updates will be coming slowly over the next couple of weeks. The flooding in BC is very bad right now and I have a house full of people that have been evacuated.
Everyone stay warm, safe, and healthy

Hello my lovely teammates. Surgery went well and the doc said everything looks great. I am going to be in recovery until mid-December and not very active.
I plan on reading all the big books in my house. (not sorry at all). Have a lovely day and enjoy the fall weather for me.

Finished my last book for this round. I barely got any sleep but I love the series.
The Wheel of Time is out and the first 3 episodes can be watched with the last one coming out on Dec 24. I am goin to read the series before I binge it.

WOO HOO!!! Surgery date moved up! I get to check in Monday morning at 10. Then it is more couch and book time to recover.
Jenny wrote: "M, have you received a new date for the surgery?
Also, how was A Canticle for Liebowitz? I keep meaning to read that one, but I never have."I am looking at another week. WooHoo!
I enjoyed Canticle. I read it years ago and it is much different to my adult eyes than as an angsty teen. It can be difficult to get through some parts but I always tell someone to try reading a book they are curious about. You never know if you will find a new favorite.

Last couple of days. I am cheering everyone on from my couch. I have 2 final books to complete. One will hit every letter so I will put it in the last column and let the captains decide where to put it.

I was scheduled to have surgery on Wednesday but BC has been dealing with massive rainstorms and flooding. It is about 270mm of rain in 24 hours. So I have been put on hold and given more pain meds.
I can wait since there was a massive landslide in the mountains that has people trapped. They need medical attention more than I do.
