Oh I agree with you both. I was so disappointed and yes, the whining really got to me. I feel it's a real hit and miss with Moriarty for me. I enjoyed 2 of her books, but then totally bum out on others. I literally fell asleep through parts of this. It was an audiobook, maybe that's why it didn't work for me as the others I did enjoy, were physical copies.
I should have Patterson's
done by tomorrow. That will be another 400 pages.Btw,
was 415 pages
I hope to finish Truly madly guilty today or tomorrow. I'm sorry it's not really going so fast. I hope to improve over the next fortnight

And I cried! I never cry in books but it was so sad :'("
:( I love books that give me an emotional reaction"
Me too, although it doesn't happen a lot. I think the last time was The book thief. The ending was a relief and I clearly had been very worried about the boxer in the basement.
I hope you feel better soon Sally. I used to have dreadful migraines. Lisa, I totally hear you! If I forget my book or Kindle I demean myself by reading pretty much anything I can get my hands on: flyers, product packaging....it's tragic so I try not to fall in that brain dulling trap
Unicorn horn or horse's tail: horn for sure! Especially if it's pink, purple and glittery :)What are you goals for TT? What is the reason you signed up?
a) curiosity - I've never done TT before
b) to read more
c) to get to know other members
d) to get book recommendations
e) I'm a challenge addict, can't help myself
f) other..........
Oh man, it would be b) I want to read more; d) get book recommendations and very much e) I'm a challenge addict!!
I also love getting to know new (to me) members and seeing members I already know again. Yeah, I love these challenges!
Would you rather....hold a snake or kiss a jellyfish?
Well, if you look at my profile pic, that has been answered :). I don't mind snakes, but find jelly fish disgusting
I met Jonathan and Faye Kellerman yesterday :) I havent done much reading, but about to fly back to Australia, so plenty of time (16 hrs!!!) to read

I never made it to half-way with this book. Thanks for the tip!

It's my second try with this book. I couldn't get into the book the first time. I'm hoping it's better this time round. I am flying back to Australia this weekend, so I have enough time for it :)
