Sweet, that gives me something to work with :)
I've found some. Can I just start with one and make my way through or do you want to know them beforehand?
We've had a medical emergency that I have to deal with. I might not be able to get more than 1-2 books done a week because of it, sorry.

35559 Question for the day

What's the last TV show you watched?
We don't own a TV, haven't owned one for 7 years. We found that our kids don't do so well with a TV in the house. They get moody and irritable. We have also banned iPads and computers for videos (still can be used for educational purposes of course).
I watch what I can find online. I'm currently in season 5 of Scandal and I enjoy How to get away with murder as well.

35559 I found Martha Mayhem and the Witch from the Ditch
It's 192 pages, but it's a kids' book. I can't find it on AR book find. Is it a go or not?

The book isn't available anymore. Sorry. I will look for something else

35559 would The Ballad of Cauldron Bay work for this? It is a children's book, but it seems long enough.

35559 Can I just ask for someone to add it to the spreadsheet? I have a bad track record with spreadsheets (I deleted a whole section at work once...it wasn't pretty). Thanks.

35559 I had to go through my list for the year to find some 5 star ones:
Snap (it just kept me hooked)
Cry, the Beloved Country (an oldie but a goodie)
The Butterfly Garden (again, it kept me hooked)
I Am Pilgrim (it's a tomb at over 800 pages, but it was probably my favourite book this year)
The Great Alone
The Perfect Mother

I read quite a few good books this year and I'm probably getting a bit more generous with my ratings. These were really good for me though.

35559 Congrats Karen. My kids love their school's worm farm. My 3 year old is quite the little worm expert haha

I have just (literally last week) qualified as a clinical supervisor for Functional Family Therapy (aka FFT, an evidence-based family therapy program from the USA and used by over 350 teams across the world). It took me 2 years to get there and I am the only one in Australia.

I'm with you on The Blacklist!!

My 5 (I can't put it in order):
1) Medisch Centrum West (a 1980s Dutch medical series, I watched every single episode growing up)
2) The Blacklist
3) The Handmaid's tale
4) Heartbreak High (another childhood favourite)
5) Flying Doctors (another childhood favourite)
6) Mystery Road (seriously watch it!!)

I know that's 6 but I watch series more so than movies :)
