Finished yesterday! This wasn't what I was expecting, but I still thought it was a good read. I thought it would be more of a mystery with maybe a whodunnit aspect, when it was actually just Maya relating all the events of what happened. Plus that twist at the end.

What did you all think of Desmond?

I looked at the next in the series and it looks like it is a different story/case but still involves the FBI agents.

So I just checked out the teams (Go team Jack!) and reread the challenge rules and came to the conclusion that this group is SO FUN!!

I also really like that Lizzy has such a strong relationship with Jane. She has a friend in Charlotte, but it's such a better friendship with Jane. I never thought about how that's something that can be lacking in modern romances!

I started last night! I'm only a few pages in but am looking forward to getting into it this weekend.

I don't know if Charlotte is sneaky so much as she realizes her lot in life as a woman at that time and knows exactly what she needs to do and who to socialize with to make sure she's comfortable in life (if not in love).

It's funny, I actually just attended our friends' wedding this past weekend; the groom is someone my husband has been friends with since he was in little league. The bride was a newcomer to our friends group when they started dating several years ago. Checking In!

I'm working my way through Alias Grace right now. I'm enjoying it, but it's slow going. My F2F book club meets on Friday night, so I have to put that aside for now to finish the book for that meeting - Rules of Civility.

I have off on Friday, so I'm hoping to get a ton of reading done during the day. We'll be away for the weekend for a wedding, so that will be the last chance I have to read before Sunday night.
