Got it now, thanks Tea...
I'll edit the previous.
and just to clarify. Without Sin Bingo, you add the points you assign. So a color is page points + 5, OR
Genre is page points + 3....

Going to re-read instructions again ☺️

See the green example I posted. Wilder girls counted for each of the 3 tasks under the Sin Envy.

◈ For accuracy
Each week we'll do a team analysis of books read vs books signed up
Teams that stay in the 80% - 120% reading range get an additional 50 points
Teams that fall below the 80% mark get a penalty of -20 points
Teams that go over the 120% cap but stay under the 250% get a penalty of -100 points
Teams that go over the 250% mark get a penalty of -200 points
What this means is don't go gang busters and read more than you originally stated you read. It prevents give an advantage to those players who gave an underestimate when they signed up

◈ Greed
Highest number of books read by the end of the challenge
◈ Gluttony
Highest number of points by the end of the challenge
◈ Lust
Higher number of Mod awarded points
◈ Pride
Highest number of books read from your matching Sin
◈ Sloth
Most accurate reading to sign-up goals.
◈ Wrath
Highest number of points from mini-challenges
◈ Envy
Highest BOM points participation

- Color: Green
- Genre: Young Adult
- Criteria: Books that members from other teams have read (during 2019)

Sin- ENVY
- Cover Color- Green (it's been deemed Green)
-Genre- Young Adult (has to be on First page of Tags)
-Criteria: Teddie on another team read this in 2019.
So, that book is a BINGO and we get the page count (353) plus the points.
353 x's 0.1 = 35.3
7 points for getting Sin Bingo
~ for Green
~ for YA
~ for Teddie reading it
= 42.3 total points (not sure how it will be rounded)

According to original rules:
This time, the goal is to make Seven Sinful Towers of books. You can read whatever you want as usual. However, to get points, you must assign a book to a sin, and get the correspondent points per page read.
So , at bare minimum you need to match your book to either
1. The book cover is more than 50% the color of the sin
or
2. The genre of the sin can be found on the first page of the book's Top shelves
or
3. It fits the criteria that describes the sin.
I think you can find at least one of any Sin to fit a book. Definitely GREED, the criteria is Anything goes- but it's not worth any bonus points. The tricky part comes in when you want to max out your points. Trying to get the most criteria in each sin.
I'll post an example of one I've found below...

I’m pretty sure any book you read gets points depending on page numbers . The longer the book, the more points the team gets.
See the breakdown above ☝🏼 I’d repost but can’t do it from my phone .

No worries Vicki, read whatever you like. We still get points, just not all those bonuses. Keep it fun and not stressful 😉

Good Catch Mary!
Also, I think we are good with your Shiny question. I agree, you were well justified with the shiny reflection and lights... :D

Same for me Mary, never see a cover ... but I think they will be kind about it.. so far everyone is collaborating on the color issue.

We can post our finished books there for the Captain/Co's to keep track.

I agree, since that gives us the most points of the 3.
