It sounds pretty good to me! The sort of book I would enjoy. It will help get a book off my TBR too. I will keep in mind what you said about the rest of the series, but I will definitely give the first book a go (and finish it regardless of if I like it, because points :P)

I found a book on my TBR that has been tagged DNF over 2,000 times (doesn't give me much hope for reading it) and the first chapter has the word Quilt in it!
I put
Winter in the task for the 6 letter word in title for now. It is book 4 in a series so we might want to use it for a sequence or there is probably going to be some food in it that we could use it for.

I will be reading a book that is 4 in the series if we need one, but it should fit in other places.

I am reading a series that I could get every book for from a friend so could help there
I also have a non fiction book about I..."No, it can be 5 books from different series and different people can read them. So, I could read book 2 from a series, Cat could read book 3 from a different one, you could read book 4 from another one, and so on until we have 5. The sequence doesn't have to start with 1 either. As long as the numbers run in order, they can start anywhere.

We've just completed our third spelling!

I've just seen that a lot of Audible plus books I saved to my library will be removed soon. Many of them are pretty short, but I'm thinking I might read some anyway as I'm having trouble focusing on longer books. I don't think I'm going to reach my cap this round, but at least this way I would be closer and some points are better than no points, right?

I think it would be best if you post everything and then we can play around with books towards the end of the round to make sure we get the most spellings completed.

Saar - I am so glad she came home. I don't think I could have left if she had disappeared and we didn't know what happened to her. When I'm in the UK, I live with my parents so they are still home looking after Jack, her brother. We were all concerned yesterday because it would have been the first day he was on his own during the day while they worked. But mum said he came out to greet her like normal and he's still been eating. My parents used to shut their bedroom door at night because Jack has a habit of walking over people at 3 or 4am, but I told them they will need to have the door open for him for a least a little bit until he gets more used to being the only one.
Mum said he appears to be mostly acting the same as usual and she hasn't said anything about looking for her yet. Mum is taking good care of him and he is getting lots of fuss when my parents are home. I'm just sad that I had to leave him so soon after it happened and help him adjust.
I tried to read a little yesterday, but my mind kept wandering. I'll try again today with one of my other books and see if that will help.

I saw it started like that when I downloaded it to my phone. I wasn't sure if it continued that way. I was also slightly concerned when it told me it was almost 500 pages long! But I usually read things quickly in that style.

Thank you, Lucy. Everything went well in the end and I made it to my destination and had a good sleep. I'm hoping to get a bit of reading done today after I've sorted out some things.

I generally end up enjoying the BOMs I participate in. And I try and participate when I can because they are usually books I wouldn't think to read otherwise.

Can confirm, I also have it D:

Oh no! I may have got that one! It looks familiar. If I have it, I might have to give it a go soon and if I feel the same way, I can DNF it! Or struggle through. That would depend on my mood :p

Thank you all for your kind words. I keep having random bursts of emotion which is not good when you are in the middle of an airport and have to pretend like you are a sane person :p
At most I have had about 9 hours sleep in the past 50 something hours so I just have enough brain power to navigate my way through the travelling. I'm currently in Oslo, but my next flight is delayed which making me panic a little about making my last short flight. But that one is supposedly also delayed as quite a few people on my next flight are supposed to transfer to that one.
I will probably start the BOM tomorrow (unless something goes drastically wrong and I get stranded). As predicted, I have not read anything yesterday or today, but I hope to be able to get stuck into some books soon.

Thank you both. At least my boyfriend will be waiting for me at the end of the day of travel.

I woke up to sad news this morning. One of my cats appeared to have been hit by a car this morning. She came home, but was gone before we could take her anywhere. I'm supposed to be travelling to Norway tomorrow and the most upsetting thing is the other cat, her brother, will be looking for her and I'm not even going to be here to try and comfort him.
I don't think I'll be able to read anything today and I might have to download some episodes of something to mindlessly watch on my travels tomorrow as I'm not sure I'll be able to concentrate on a book.
I should be able to pick up reading in a couple of days, but I will see how things go.

I will be starting with

I just looked and there's still 23 hours until I can start reading my books! I guess I'll have to find some mundane chores to keep me busy until tomorrow evening...
