I've found several books that work but it's hard to find one that also fits our letters. I have two and each fits only one letter and it's currently used. So I moved Insayah's book Antifragile to the letter I and Brittany's Autumn Bones to the letter A and put mine at the letter L. Hope that's okay.

I also just read a V book for my own (dis)pleasure so if someone has duplicated one of my letters, such as E, I can delete that book and put my V book in. Just an idea.

Okay, found one. Murder is Binding by Lorna Barrett. It looks boring so I'll keep looking but at least I've got it covered.

Crap. I thought I had one but it only has one "I". I'll look for one but that's a hard one. What book were you going to read?

Found a decorating one that can fit three different letters, although not V. I'm starting it now. I have another one that can fit V, though, if that's what I need for my final book. I'll wait until a little later in the week for that last one.

How do I keep missing putting tagging it Boring Wheel? Scatterbrained.

Okay, I'll try to find something for decorating.

I only have two books left so I want to make them count. V and I are what are left of this iteration but we don't have a completed R. M and Melissa, are you for sure going to finish your R books? Is anyone about to read a V or an I? It takes me a long time to find an audiobook that fits an odd letter that I want to read. But if there isn't anyone, I'll try to find a book that fits.

Or I could try to find a book to fit our last category in the relax mini, an author whose initials fit in Decorating.

I'll try to find something that fits both the letter and decorating but I want to know what you all think the priority should be.

How do we know when there are new team challenges to sign up for? I found this one because a friend recommended it to me.

LOL Christine! You folks are so brave for even starting books that long. I don't really have the concentration right now. I really admire you!

Yeah. There's a tab for it saying "mini 2" and the mini instructions say,

"◈ You can repeat this mini as many times as you want, but can't bank books. i.e. books for the second run through must all be finished AFTER all the tasks for the first run through have been completed."

That sounds to me like we don't even have to complete all three minis again, to keep going with them.

I had to go find it. I should have just done that in the first place. :\

Another question: If we can't fit our books to the new mini, we're supposed to try to fit them to round two of the old minis, right? I'm just asking because it doesn't look like anyone is doing that yet.

I'm sorry if I'm being annoying with all my questions. My latest book has pants but the only place it would fit is cocktail. But they're not referring to a drink but drugs:

"Between the booze and the cocktail of tranquilizers..."

If that doesn't work, I can fit it with the DNF/coffee table line in the second round of our original minis.

I don't know how good it is, that ratings aren't good, but this is my dad's book: Puppet Master. It's out of print and not in ebook format at this point. You might be able to find it at some online site. He has a new one out that is supposed to be more of a police procedural than horror but I'm too scarred. :)

Just checking and making sure a book can only be used for one mini including both the old ones and the new, right?

Another question: can I use "sweatpants" for pants?

re: a previous comment: My dad wrote a police procedural/horror book about a serial killer who collected children and turned their heads into ventriloquist dolls. Kind of traumatic for me. No evil puppets for me.

We still have time to finish the minis don’t we? They didn’t have to be done by this morning did they? I have a book that’s fifth in a series. It’s not the longest book out there but it will make sure I use all my books even though I can’t read much until I’m on the airplane on Monday.

Melissa, did you remove my book from the spreadsheet for me? Thanks. If I started a book but didn’t finish it until Monday, can it be used for next round?
