Thanks, Nicol :)The book that I'm reading is The Darkest Hour: 'Hour' for H.
Normally finished tomorrow.
I'm a librarian, so it's interesting to read on how things work in other libraries across the world :)
If we do Kagoshima:we need 9 members to do a letter. So, right now, how many is their in our team? If we are 8, there's one book left. Maybe this one can be for a faster reader or someone reading smaller books?
I think Japan is not a good option, because of team participation and low points.
And to read books of Japan or by Japanese authors, not everyone has that.
Kagoshima is the right option for us all?
For me the spell it out is also fine. I'm able to choose between the 2 options.Maybe, we can do the spell out of Kagoshima, like Misericordia suggested? And for the spell it out, it is always the first letter of the word/name, right?
I don't know when the books need to be started or if you can use books that you've allready begun.
Ah, I've misunderstood :)I like Journey to the Center of a Book and I also have lots of books written by Japanese autors or happening in Japan.
Yes, it's on the 19th. Still not sure in what to read for now.@Jade: here the libraries are open at their usual hours, but they have been closed for a long period and then for weeks on appointment.
Checking in! I saw in the other thread that there was a place open here. Is it still okay to join here? I haven't received a pm or maybe I've missed it?
@Chris: thanks for checking! Is it okay for everyone that Melanie is co - captain and myself captain? If anyone else would like to be captain, that's fine by me :)
That looks good, Melanie, thank you for all your work. Personaly, I'll go for the spell it out and a couple of books for the scavenger. It's easier for me to find the books then for spell it out.
I agree with Jade. We can all fill in the sheet at our own and then check by a captain. If no one is up to, I would gladly try to be captain with someone as a co - captain?
I'll check tomorrow how I can invite you all to the spreadsheet.

It was one of the best I've ever read 😊
Hi, my name is Saar and live in Belgium. I mostly read fantasy, but I like reading other genres to. I would like to sign up :)
@Lau: no problem, I'm a mood reader too. Maybe a second spreadsheet can work to put the books in it that we're currently reading? So we can see where we can mix and match? (Sorry, my English isn't my main language and it's sometimes difficult to put in words what I mean)
I have a question:for example you can use up to 2 scavenger words / spell-it out letters per book: for the spell - it out letters, is that 2 letters per book?
Have you already books planned to read next month? I have a couple. What are the lenghts of books you can read? I have a lot of thin ones and normally I can read 1 or 2 above 300 pages. So, that's a good option for fresh and frozen meals.
So, I've got the spreadsheet emailed by the mods. Do you want all to have access to it to edit or just one person? Also, we need to tell a bit about our restaurant: what it's about...The name we allready have.About the captain: maybe it's easy to have a captain? It's my first team challenge in this group, but I have done others in other groups, also with a captain. (I've been captain once or twice)
