@Kelly: You can take supplements with glucosamine in it. I'm currently at work, so can't look which one we've got. I live in Belgium, so I don't think they will be available somewhere else. But glucosamine is really helping for the cartilage. Thanks, I'm going to the pharmacy and ask about them.@Sammy: then it's understandable that it took so long to heal. Good idea on the ice packs. My pyshio said I should rub the bottom side of my feet with ice. I've also got a tennisball to roll my feet over and some excercises I can do.
@Kelly: what socks were that? My physio said something about heel pads? Haha, you're not ridiculous! At my age I wear Vans, Converse, Mustangs...But Birkenstocks, yes, I've heard good things about them.Your knee sounds very painful. There are some supplements you can take to support your cartilage. We've got them at home.
@Sammy: That's a long time! I have a desk job, so not on my feet all the time, but when I'm not at work, I walk a lot. I asked my doctor if I could stay at home to rest, but she thought it would only get worse. Indeed, the mornings. Those are the worst! My physio said that surgery almost doesn't help, so that wasn't an option. I just try to live with it and walk funny at times.
Yeah, I know, excrutiating! It has been so frustrating this past months. How long have you struggled with it and what did you do to get it away?
I've got fascia inflammation of the tendon plates on both feet since February this year. I could barely walk from the pain, but went only in April to the physio. I'm stubborn and thought it would go away...not. I've still got it. It's a bit less now, but still walking not as it should be. Hooray for bagage service! It's not a luxuary thing :)
Doing a trail, but mainly Santiago de Compostela, is on my bucketlist. But I struggle with my feet, so it will only be a dream, I think. As a replacement I read lots of books about different trails.
Normally I'm starting A Monster Calls this weekend. Is that helpful? I'm also planning to read Bookshops & Bonedust in the coming weeks.
Hello everyone!I'm glad to do another Wheel again. I don't know how many I've done so far. I'm a bit of a challenge addict, haha, but everything to keep that ever growing TBR - pile from overflowing.

@Tammie: sorry for the late reply. I'm in my last week off from work and my reading has dropped dramaticaly. I'm going to finish books before the 17th. So, no worries.

Thank you. It's a Dutch book, with no translation, but the character is correct.
I've finished Cécile and added it to the spreadsheet. It can work for:- Countries: Morroco.
- Travelling: number 90.
- World Wheel: first name of author.

Those temperatures are not normal here in this time of the year. I'm at work and it's now 28,5C in the office.
Thanks, Tammie! It's a really interest book. I loved reading it. Yesterday and today we have a heat wave. Right now it's 38C outside. I've tried to read, but hard to concentrate with this heat.
