Does 'Legacy' or 'The' needs to be the first word or doesn't that matter? Searching for book at the moment.
Okay, I've catched up with all the messages here. It was my birthday today and I spoiled myself with 5 new books! My husband and son treated me on a deluxe breakfast and 2 cakes. Yesterday I went eating cake and sipping delicious coffee with my best friend.
It all felt like a well deserved treat after those exams...
Now, I will see what I can put in for the second round.

Sorry for all the confusion! It's my fault. I tend to put in the English version for challenges if I've read the Dutch version (to avoid the language barrier). I've read the Dutch one and normally it's now fixed on the sheet. The links were allready the right ones.

That's so strange, because I see 5 books on my bookshelf, so they are all listed on it 🤷♀️

I've finished my book for the mini and added it. I've changed one book (that I didn't start) on the sheet into another that I've finished and added a new finished book too.

Later in the season it's better.
The heavy built of my horse is really okay. He's not so heavy as a regular Fjord, but he has the Fjord colors: the line on the back, the stripes on the legs...
The vet came also today for him. He had difficulty to get up, was lying down very long and his right behind leg was painful. He was now diagnosed with arthrosis. We didn't ride anymore, but now we need to stop doing ground work too. So, he's officialy retired.
I'm sadly familiar with that. My horse had that too a couple of times. You did good on keeping him off the grass. O, I love Icelandic horses! Mine is half of a Fjord and the other half a regular (heavy) pony. He turned 25 years last month. What you can do, but I don't know if the place where he stays is okay with that, keeping him on a paddock with hay (not from the first slice, that's too sugary), soaked in water. You can let him in the pasture in the late afternoon and at night, so the fructan is at it's lowest. What my horse has, is a pasture not with full grown grass (later in the season long grass is good, because the risk is minimal), but that is already eaten by other horses and that is not fertilized. I think you already cool his hooves? Mine gets special food that is suited against laminitis and other things and also a supplement for Cushing dissease. The stable that I'm at, is keeping his risk for laminitis in mind. I've been there for almost 20 years, but I had to stand my ground to get him the care he deserves. I'm glad they've listened in time.
Ingeborg wrote: "I've had such a hectic and stressful few days! My horse had a health scare, so I've spent time worrying, talking to vets, fixing stuff for him and calling different stables in the area for a potent..."Oh no, Ingeborg, I feel your pain! I've got a horse too. I can understand what you are going through. It's not easy to find suitable accomodations for a horse and it's scary when their health is going down. Can I ask what your horse has? I've got my thumbs up that everything will be okay.
I think I can add some shorter books for the first round. Normally I've got an exam Saturday, but I've canceled it. Not for the competition, though, haha, but my anxiety to fail is kicking in and I'm not as prepared as I wanted to be to do the exam.
I'm stil working on my book for orange cover for the Mini. Normally should be done by the end of the week. I need to pull myself away from my studybooks and I have day shifts at work, so time to read in the evening.
Waw, Erin, that's bad news, but I'm glad that you still have your job. There are so many weird things going on and job hunting now, can be a pain in the *ss.Okay, I just need to read 'Nestlings'. You won me over. Wich are the 2 farm cozy mysteries you are reading?
I'm going to start my book for the mini and also 'Insomnia'.
I've finished another book. Am I correct that there's still 15 days left in round 1? I was just so sure that today was the last day and that I needed to put my 2 books for next month.
Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* wrote: "Hm, started reading Nestlings last name as a library borrow. It sounds good and IS good so far -- but have to share this creepy but horror-cool cover. May be my creepiest cover of 2024 - I have a t..."That's a creepy cover! How is the book so far? I've added it to my TBR - pile.
For 'orange cover' in the mini, I've entered a Dutch title in the sheet. The Dutch translation is an orange cover, but for some reason, I can't add the link in the sheet.
