Saar The Book owl’s comments from the Nothing But Reading Challenges group.

Normally I have a couple of books that I'll finish at the end of the week. Some for scavenger and others for spell - it -out.

I've got my book. I'm starting this week:

Don't know yet. I'll finish my other book first and then gopher for some options.

So, the detour is: read a book about a group of friends?

First choice or third choice is fine for me.

No problem. I've asked in the thread, so we'll see.

I don't know if the question has already been asked, but can we also use illustrators for the spell - it - out?

I'm going to ask it in the Q&A - thread, but if we can use translators, I think maybe illustrators can too?

Thanks for updating the sheet. I think I can finish 5 books this week and next week I only need to work 2 days, so that gives me time to read more.

On the sheet I see books for round 2 that are already with items. Are these books started after the start of round 2 or before, because:

Only books read during the specified round can be used (“read date” is what counts, provided it started after the challenge started)

Thanks for all the hard work, Melanie, I really appreciate it. We were indeed under 80 books. Normally I read more, but I was caught up in a lot of chuncksters, so I'll change tactic and read smaller ones.
I like your idea, Melanie, in message 209.

To add to that:
- maybe we can make the meals a bit sooner. So that we don't need rush? If we see that there are items that we can use to completely finish a meal, than we can do that?

- I like the idea of using colors for used books. Maybe we can use 1 color? Also the tab 'Round 1 books remaining' is super.

- the items we've used, we can strike them out. So we don't have a hard time to get through everything and can create meals easier.

Till what date does it needs to be read? I haven't started yet, because I've got a couple of weird weeks behind my back.

I'm curious too and I was blown away by the work it is. Maybe it would be good to check on the official sheet, tab 'Books read', if all the books that we've actually read are added there.

I'm finished, I think. We've got now 93 meals with names. Everything is added to the official sheet also. I've added also a couple of books that have been read into the official sheet.

I've made 3 more meals. I think that's it. I'm going to name the meals now.
