Evee’s comments from the The World I Want to Create *Roleplaying* group.

He smiled kindly, soft lines creasing his mouth. "No one's going to get hurt Derey. I just need a little help. Help that that stone could provide." His lip twitched and he looked up into the empty sky. He sighed and smiled again at the collected group. "I was hoping to negotiate but it seems no use. He's already coming." He turned away and mounted the bird again. As he seated himself he turned back to them once more. "Keep that stone safe Derey and when in the cities keep it hidden. You have no clue what horrors could come about if that stone falls into the wrong hands." He smiled a wry smile. "Treasure it and whatever you do don't let your hands become those type of hands." Then the bird took off and they quickly grew small as they rose into the sky.

His eyes turned sharply towards Molly for a moment. Then they turned back to Derey. He seemed to calm down and his eyes lost the dangerous look. "Just hand it to me Derey. Just hand it to me and you can go home. You'll never have to risk your life or suffer again." He leaned closer to Derey, "And in addition I'm sure my sponsors from your world would love to show their appreciation to you. . . deeply."

Belenos' hair settled around him as he climbed down the bird. He looked to Molly, Derey and Taylor. Smiling he ignored each of their reactions to his Bird. "It's a pleasure to meet you three again." He turned to Derey, still smiling, "But I'd suggest you hand over that Opal to me Derey." His eyes took on a dangerous look.

((technically you aren't supposed to know that this one is yours, but oh well. Who cares)) There was a screech making Derey, Taylor and Molly jump remembering the bird from before. That's when they all saw it, the bird. Taylor, who had still been climbing out of the tree, was the closest and saw something. She took a short cut landing on her feet. "Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch." Then she ran to the others. "That Bird! It's coming back! but. . ." She trailed off as the bird arrived.
It landed and who should get off but Belenos. He smiled.

Taylor started to climb down. "Derey! Take it out."

Something dark started to glow from inside the shadow beside the dragon and it shrunk until it was hand sized. The stone glistened with a silver sheen and it seemed to be calling out. The dragon stirred.

They'd sent Alexis alone, as usual, because two people looked too conspicuous. As soon as she reached the Bahamas she was supposed to meet up with her connection. He had come on another plane the day before. Then they would then both head to exchange site. It would have all been a very smooth transaction. That is, if that bird hadn't flown at the plane so high, it was really unusual actually, but then again unusual things happened. That's why she had the job she had. Anyway, if the bird hadn't flown so high it wouldn't have been caught in the turbines, and if it hadn't been caught in the turbines the engine wouldn't have exploded and if the engine hadn't exploded then the plane wouldn't have crashed and if the plane hadn't crashed she would have reached the Bahamas and if she'd reached the Bahamas. . .well unusual things happen.
She'd only had time to grab the case before she'd seen the ground. Her last thought had been, "This is going to hurt."

The shadow dragon roared and flew straight at Ethan it's black fangs bared. Taylor climbed a tree as the Dragon flew closer. It reached Taylor and she threw a rock, it swerved. . .and came at her. "Derey! Now's your chance!"

Personality: Friendly, hardy, a hiker, quick, doesn't complain, curious.

Appearance: Silver eyes, on the short side, hair halfway down her neck, gymnast,wheat yellow hair always pulled back behind her ears. Wearing white shirt with a blue vest and jeans.

Other: She seems very worried about something that was lost in the crash.

Taylor just stared at it for a moment and then said softly, "Things more dangerous than what you've faced are coming." Another smaller shadow appeared beside the large one. Then they both dived.

She paused again looking sheepish. "I apologize I didn't know. well, let me explain, a little before you came in this guy called Belenos came in ans claimed that we are in a different world and that the only way to get home is to find some kind of Gemstones. He must be crazy. Anyway we have to try to find out where we are.

"Wait," Taylor paused. "You have no
clue what's happened?"

((k)) Taylor eyed the newcomers suspisiously. Then she spoke, "quite bluntly, "I don't believe that lunatic's story about traveling through dimensions and I think you'd be a fool if you do." She turned around and started to stalk off, "follow his advice if your so bored. Go ahead and be conned."
((Taylor's personality is blunt and unfriendly some of the time but in many a situation she makes an interesting character. She's just a hard nut with a soft core. Right now she's really suspisious because after all if something like this happened to you and someone told you you had crossed dimensions would you believe them?))

((hey Sam where exactly are you? Are you in the forest with the others or are you somewhere else?))

"What?" Taylor said, "where'd you come from?" then she sighed and shrugged her shoulders, "I give up trying to make any sense of things. Anyway I'm Taylor." she held out her hand.
((by the way if you want to know what's happened up till now just look in the charrie section I wrote up what's happened so far there.))

((Nope. I'm not in charge of you character, you are. I'm only putting in details of what the past Opal holder was like. The personality and stuff of your character is totally your deal.(Sorry I didn't mean to hawk in onto your character or anything. I was just putting in details.)))

For those of you who want to know whats happened so far.

basically Molly and Dani were in starbucks, Molly sipping on coco and Dani drinking coffee and using his computer. Scene switch, you see Derey bandaging herself she comments "She no longer cried. She was not going to give them the satisfaction." Another scene switch, Army girl Taylor is the daughter of a famous general who saved the president Taylor complains about how she's never alone, she's always being guarded, she rebelled and refused to go in her bodyguards car and walks home. After a while she looks back and realize the people in the car aren't her bodyguards. Scene switch, back at Starbucks there's a quake, Derey shows up and asks if everyones ok. Scene switch Taylors running away from kidnappers and manages to get to Starbucks. Another quake starts, the floor splits open and things start to shake. We all fall into the hole, wake up in the woods, get attacked by a giant carnivorous bird and then get approached by Belenos, a man who claims to know a way for us to return home. The first option (he explains) is to recreate an earthquake here where we arrived (not very likely) and the second is to find something powerful enough to force a portal open. The only thing he can think of that would be that powerful would be the Legendary Gemstones. He then gives a foreboding warning about the Opal stone of Power, that it's last user betrayed the others to a great evil. (which doesn't mean exactly that the next user it chooses will be the same just that the stone doesn't have a good reputation.)
Then as Belenos starts to leave he suggests that we get out of there because a danger is coming.

((basically we all fell into a hole while in the coffee shop, woke up in the woods, got attacked by a giant carnivorous bird and then got approached by Belenos a man who claims to know a why for us to get home. First option recreate an earthquake here where we arrived (not very likely) and two find something powerful enough to force a portal to open. The only thing he can think of that would be that powerful would be the Legendary Gemstones. He then gives a foreboding warning about the Opal stone of Power, that it's last user betrayed the others to a great evil. (which doesn't mean exactly that the next user it chooses will be the same just that the stone doesn't have a good reputation.) For the way for you to jump in I'd suggest to you that you wake up as Belenos is leaving (he's going right now) and see everyone else. (After all we just fell through a hole someone was bound to sleep through some of the excitement.)))
