Alexis growned as she came to. Her head was pounding and her hackles instantly went up as she realized she had no idea where she was or how she'd gotten there. Nausia washed over her and she puked. After she had rid herself of her lunch she remembered. She'd been on a flight to Australia. She'd gone there to deliver. . .! Where was it! She felt around wildly looking everywhere.
Still dizzy she managed to get to her feet. She had to find it! or else. . .she didn't want to think of the consequences. Right now at this delicate point in time that thing was worth more than her life.
She stumbled into the forest, her hand steadying her head, searching.

"You can't protect if you aren't rested. Let the bird protect for a time. Besides the threats are all gone." the voice paused, "for now."

A soothing voice came into her head. "It's alright. Just let the bird fly. He'll lead the way."

The red man raised his sword, yelling, "NO!" The birds flying around his head faltered for a moment in fear. Then the red man swung. The other bird had taken off just barely missed being cut in half by the sword. The trees surrounding him weren't so fortunate. In a fifteen foot radius everything had been cut in half. Taylor, limp and frozen but still awake could only stare in horror. Then the birds took to the skies. Followed by the nerve-wracking screams of the red giant.

Well, until you get your stone you have plenty of time to think about it. The powers are going to be pretty powerful. Derey took the elements but there are still things left like controlling a storm or the ocean or something. (by the way you can claim a power before you get your stone. That way it'll be fair in choosing powers. Just as long as you claim the power first you can have it.)

The thing had almost reached Derey when there was a screech. A bird flew down and swooped, riderless. It attacked him. Another reached Derey and Ethan. It craned it's neck waiting for them to get on it's back. Another reached Taylor and picked up her limp form. The red man growled and stepped forward but birds flocked him effectively keeping him busy.

((That's the point. Blaze is meant to be a lasting (for at least a little time)character or I wouldn't have put him in the character section. There is a way to defeat him but you guys need to at least find each of your stones to do it. Right now the best thing is to run and definitely get the opal stone away.(After all to get stronger people need something that they can't beat and want to overcome)))

The man stopped and then slowly turned around towards Taylor. She gasped and started to try to stumble backwards. It smiled, "You have the sight don't you?" Taylor paled. "To be this strong here. . .you must have already had it in the other world too." He moved towards her. "He could definitely use that power." His eyes flickered back to Derey. "But you'll have to wait until I get the stone." He pointed his finger towards her and something shot into her forehead. She went limp on the ground, "Running is just so useless isn't it?" He smiled and turned back to Derey.

He started to chuckle and continued to move towards her. Taylor awoke. She sat up, "Run! Run everyone! That thing, it's a ghost! You can't beat it. You can't kill it. It's Undead. RUN! Get away from that sword at all cost! Run!"

That's when the fire started to follow her. It circled her and engulfed her. The man in red moved towards her with his long sword in his hand.

((Oh now I get it. OK))

((Hey Derey ONE power. Either jumpy or fire, choose. Oh and just for reference people once someone has chosen a power you can't choose it.))

A fire snake wrapped itself around her leg, searing her. Taylor went unconscious.

I dropped her, then stepped on her throat. Taylor gasped weakly from the ground, "Run, this things. . ." She was cut off as he put pressure on her throat. It brought it's hands to it's mouth and blew. Instantly almost all the surrounding forest caught on fire. A circle of fire appeared around Derey.

You can choose one power that goes with your character. You can develop it but you have to stick to one.

There was a scream. Behind everybody Taylor was suspended five feet in the air by her throat. A giant person held her there. He was at least ten feet. It was covered in bright red.((To see this characters stuff look at the character section.)) It growled at her, "Where's the stone?" Then it stopped and sniffed. It turned around and beneath its red mask you could tell it smiled. It's eyes settled on Derey.

Appearance: Wearing Dark red covering everywhere. All you can see of him is his eyes. Red also. Ten feet tall.
Power: FIRE. He was able to completely immobilize someones muscles so he must have done something there also.
Other: Ruby Ghost Knight (In other words, Undead)

Far in the sky a figure on the back of a giant bird smiled. Then his face fell, sadly remembering a time from a very long time ago. When he was younger and more naive. He looked down, "Will you be able to fight him? Will any of you stand a chance? And will it come at a price. . .like that did?" he said softly to himself. Then he shakes his head, trying to clear it and heads towards a line of black mountains.
