That's so awesome! I can't wait to hear what you think of it when you read it Tonya! :)

Exactly! That's what I say! Welcome to the group Melita! I can tell you will be a great addition! :)

31308 Welcome to the group Sandi! :)
31308 At my current reading rate (I have been reading so much more this year since I found goodreads and bought my Kindle!) It would take me about 1.5 years to read my current 'books I own TBR'... but I am also a library addict so if I consider how many books I actually own I usually read in a year we are probably looking at more like 3 years... that doesn't seem soooo bad... maybe I need to do some ebay shopping! LOL!

Welcome to the group Renee! I hope you will share some of your favorite covers with us here! I'm a big fan of the good old BR cover art as well... oh who am I kidding? I even love the 'bad' ones! :) Landscapes, flowers and random isolated objects on a plain background just don't do it for me... who needs that? Boring! LOL

I think I liked Whitney a little better than Kingdom of Dreams (more drama and angst!) but Kingdom of Dreams was very sweet and romantic and more emotionally intense... Both good, they both have their strengths. I still need to read Until You to weigh in on that one, I have it on my to read for June... but then again I have too many books on my to read for June so who knows, it might get cut... happens every month! I always tell myself that this month I will get in 12 or something and I always end up reading my usual 6 or 7, sometimes less, I am not all that super speedy.... *sigh* oh well :)
31308 OMG! You guys are making me so excited to read this!!! I ordered my copy earlier this week... hopefully I will get it soon so I can jump in!!!!

I guess that shouldn't surprise me... even still, I think it will be fun :)

31308 Today I picked up Mysterious by Fabio on the clearance shelf at my favorite used bookstore. I am a bit curious and really want to read it just to see what it's like. He has written several so I thought it might be fun to do an author buddy read! Pick up any novel you can find by Fabio and lets all compare notes!

I will be reading this sometime in June. If you want to participate no rush, just pop in and comment whenever you get to it :)

Discussions: What do you think of the authors style/voice? Did you like the characters/setting/atmosphere? What do you think this authors strengths are? Weaknesses? If you could change something about the book you read what would it be? Why? Will you read anything by this author in the future?
31308 I never really did post my thoughts on this one. I read this a couple months back so I didn't read it in May with the group, to soon for a re-read. But I really loved this book. I found it completely absorbing and just really wonderful. I think McNaught is a truly talented author even if she did screw up by rewriting in ;) I think the romance progresses smoothly and I could see how these two characters would come together even if they are both a bit dysfunctional (well mostly he is the crazy jealous dysfunctional one). I think they really complemented each other and make a good match. Maybe I enjoyed it so much because I went into it w/o very high expectations, I mostly just wanted to see what all the fuss was about but I found that I really loved it.

I gotta say tho, I really wanted Whitney to end up with Nicki. I loved him! I recently picked up Simple Gifts : Four Heartwarming Christmas Stories : Just Curious / Miracles / Change of Heart / Double Exposure, the story Miracles in this anthology is Nicki's story and I am dying to read it! I can't wait to see how he gets his own HEA! I think I am going to try to sneak it in sometime in the next week or two. I will come back and post my thought here when I do :)
31308 Wrap up time... any last thoughts? Anyone care to cast the WML move???
31308 I am excited to read and discuss this with all of you! This will be my first by this author! I am going to hit my favorite used bookstore tonight and see if I am luck enough to grab it there, if not I will probably just order from AbeBooks, they have it for a good price.

Love Triangle (8 new)
May 25, 2010 05:24PM

31308 I love a good love triangle... sometimes you are not exactly sure who the hero/heroine is going to end up with but you know there is an HEA around the corner, and it's always so complicated getting there! Oh I love that kind of drama! What are your favorites with this theme? BR or any romance really, I would love some new recs!
