I have the last Eden book and it looks more like HF than romance, so I'm prepared. I love both genres.

Man of My Dreams. It's the step-back of the original version. The old Johanna Lindsey step-backs are full of Fabio goodness.

Eventually I'll post some non-Fabio. LOL

Love Duillo's stuff! I got a bunch of Donna Comeaux Zide novels on Ebay and she had done the artwork for most of them.
I don't know if she did this one, but it has the same lush feel to it.

Most of my books are soo old skool they don't even have ISBNs! :)"
In that case a link to the the correct edition/publisher/date. Although most of these books have only the one edition. I just like to see covers on the book pages :)

Haven't read any yet, but the covers sucked me in as well. I go all zombie and grabby when I see purty colors like that.

Interesting...this book I added to my shelf today has cover art done by Melissa Duillo, her daughter. I see the influence.

I agree!!! I love, Love, LOVE these old romance covers!!! I think my favorite so far is This Other Eden makes me want to find this book just for that cover! They should make prints out of some of these! I would hang that in my house!!!

Agree. It's ranked high on my favorite covers. It's got that dark edge of threat, danger, and helplessness. Promises to be a real meaty read. :-)

I will do my very best to remember to bring my Flip video in there tomorrow and give you all the skinny.
Hey, maybe I should ask him if he ever thought about selling *surprise packages*.

My grandmother had all of Alpert's albums and I just transferred them to mp3 not too long ago. :D
Hadn't even made the connection here, but I can see it. I loved the Whipped Cream picture as a kid. And yes, seemed like porn at the time!

I got a book last night with a cover that I just LOVE. It's by Elaine Gignilliat. There's just something about it that grabbed me. Maybe it's the colors (nice indoor candlelight and crystal glow). Maybe it's the pose. There just seems to be lots going on there between the H/h that the usual clinch covers lack, with the intimacy & competition of the dance. :) Definitely looking forward to reading this one!
