Sanford and son? I always laughed at that show... but then again I haven't seen it hit the T.V. in about 10 years.
Futurama has a special place in my heart.
I can't really throw my hat in with the Simpson’s because well, I haven't watched the show in years... except for a brief time after the movie came out.

KD... If you had boobies I'd hug you.

blah blah blah.
It is going to be a landslide I tell you a landslide! I would like to point out that I have sucessfully picked the POTUS winner since before I could vote. I have a sixth sense about these things.
Palin all the way... eh, I mean McCain.

note to self, Get Charrisa a dust buster for x-mas.

Zombies make good target practice.
Donna, is that the not as well know 5th horsemen of the apocalypse?

wrong group but... Disease is the only good way to decrease the population ;)

Yes it is a horrible way to die. My comment was part satire, but part of it was truth. Then again, I have a strange view on the importance of human life. I really do not believe that just because one is born, that their life is by proxy important. I tend to weigh the "value" of people case by case. You would be surprised how many don't make the cut... in my mind.

I would argue that the people there are allies. The fledgling government might be but I don't think the population at large is, which is also why the government is falling apart. I would not say that %100 of the population is pro Taliban, but a large enough contingent of the population is to manipulate the direction the country moves in. I have seen this first hand in Iraq, I predict a bloody mess in the near future, neighbors killing neighbors, and with the U.S. government increasing the life support to the Pakistan government
Also It is a democracy in name only... really. The military holds too much sway. That is not suppose to be the case in a democracy. The solders there are loyal to their unit commanders not the best interest of the country. They do not see themselves as defenders of Pakistan, they see themselves and fighters for the general, or whoever the general supports.

Oh... Well that is a shame... But Yay!
*Disclaimer*
My following statement might be inflammatory and not well received. If you don't feel like being upset today, pass and read it some other day.
Perhaps it shouldn't be cured. I mean we ARE over populated, But then I think about the people who have contracted it through no fault of their own (babies, blood transfusions, sex with a dirty prostitute) so fix them, but leave the junkies off the mailer list informing people of the cure.

will do Amelia, I put my foot down with the big things sling-er. She knows it is going to happen, she knows there will be people here that she has never met... And I will inform her that it will be a big things sling-er/book signing, and it will be glorious!

I thought they figured that out in the 90's... magic Johnson is still kicking around, and I thought I read something that said he has been HIV/Aids clean for a few years now.

Will do, Amelia.

she spends most of her time (doesn't matter if I am home or not) writing. I support her completely. Sometimes she has that "lazy artist" thing going on, but I have become real good at getting her to work again. She actually has many "books" done, but she never lets anyone see them. And she doesn't really value my opinion, because "I'm her husband so I must love it" This is completely false and she knows it.I absolutely refuse to read garbage.
I think I support her too much, and so now she is worried about rejection from the pubic at large. This is also bull, I am a solid Sci-Fi type and her stuff will fly off the shelves once her name gets out there.

just doing what I can to "keep it real" ;)

She is working on the final draft, and working in concert with a publisher. No deal yet. It was almost a done deal until I went through the contract and there were some things in there that didn't bode well with the misses. Basically, they were going to give her an advance, and a 1.5% royalty for 3 years. then all revenue after that would be theirs. (and the rights to the work also)Eh, NO nice try. The publishing industry is full of swine. But were working through it. I'll let you know when she has a release date.

And just think in 15 days the election coverage will be over, and then we will have the voter fraud issue shoved down our throats, and then they will start on the mid-term elections for congress, YEY! more elections. Do our elected officials do anything besides running campaigns?

there is your proof Charris... if you touch that kill button were all going to hunt you down and give you a spanking... {Nick pauses a moment and remembers who exactly he is threatening} Eh, If you DON'T touch that button you will get a spanking ;)

I wouldn't call Axis Dead. Maybe it is just going through a recovery phase. Your sick, it's sick.
Neh, I think it is just a weird time, everyone seems busy. I normally live on Good reads when I'm at work, but these last weeks I just haven't had the time.

Lou Holtz: "Ability is what you are capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it."

Water is important. But if you solve one problem and solve it good, all others follow suit. I know I am guilty of looking far into the future with most of my science geared solutions (space elevators and Hydrogen fuel cells). The main reason why I do that is because; of what I learned from problems in my professional life, and problems with hobbies that I am working on, reverse engineering problems is a far more efficient way to deal with problems. So you ask yourself, self, what needs to be done. With goal in mind then ask yourself, self what do I need to get there.
Energy is the root cause/solution to a wide scope of issues. As what was said a few post ago with an abundant cheap energy desalinization could be in global use. I take it further; with the perfection of the Nanotubes and the Space elevator, and with an efficient solar array. The massive continuous energy gained could be distributed out across a dynamic use profile. far beyond domestic uses. Instead of desalinization, we could just produce synthetic water. with no limit on our energy gain it would be cheaper to produce water then to desalinate.
Sorry I have a point here but duty calls. I will try and hold it on the brain until I can finish.
