I think that the hunger games was a five star book, the author really sucked you into the plot, it was fast moving and emotional. I really felt like I was right there in the book and that all of it was really happening. I was sad when the characters were sad, happy when they were happy. The plot twists were very interesting and it kept you guessing about things all the way till the end.

It's good to see you have a sense of humor. People without a sense of humor will be hurt by what is supposed to be constructive criticism.

When you don't know what to write about, start writing about something you know: write about your life, be it in a journal, or even a semi-fictionalized version of your life. If that doesn't help- just free-write. Write anything that comes to your mind, no matter how dull, random, weird or silly it seems, hopefully you'll eventually find something you want to write about and if not, at least you've written something that you can go back and look at later to see if it has any potentential for inspiration.

There are definetly people out there somewhere that believe Twilight is better than Harry Potter, it just doesn't seem like they are in this group. Honestly, I think that people actually are taking the time to think about it and make an actual debate out of it and that's why Harry Potter is winning. Also, there are Twilight fans out there that haven't read Harry Potter or the other way around. Both book series have blind followers who won't even consider the idea that there are other books out there that could be better than their book, and it speaks highly of our group that none of us have fallen into that mindset here.

Some people just don't want to be in a lot of groups, its alright.

I know I haven't been doing my job, I'm really sorry, I'm trying to catch up right now though.

I will try to do it too Maddi, I'm doing a lot of book challenges in 2010, I suppose a lot of them will overlap and probably most of the books that I'm going to read will be over 200 pages.

Aw, you mean the books that I read this month won't count :(

I am thinking of organizing my bookshelf over the next few days and when I do, I'll look for some good YA novels and suggest them.

I'm reading Creature by John Saul.

There are plenty of ways to do it: you can give a summary of a book without giving away crucial parts or the ending. You can talk about things like tone, style, themes, any alliterations you find etc.

You should put our two group reads on it: Twilight and Hunger Games.

This is the place to review and discuss Twilight, with spoilers.
