both combined on one re-mastered 'corn-fed' cd - these are exceptionally good, and as one review says, addictive. bullwackies, himself, lloyd barnes, engineers the first in totallly distinctive style - if new york had/has a dub sound, then it's this!
the 2nd, by prince douglas, is perhaps even better, both having a kind of warmth to them, not usually associated with the medium - brilliant! 'corn fed' are definitely the place (for me), at the moment to hear new old stuff.

must go down as one of the finest and most interesting 'side projects' ever. two titans of metal come together to produce an album of pop/disco/balladry/kitsch/camp/perversion/and just wonderful songs. i think there's maybe one filler track out of11 - would definitely care to catch a live performance when/if.
check 'knebel' (not if you've a thing for eels tho'!)

anyway, in a strange and puzzling move, crass, having recently re-issued their back catalogue 'as it was in the beginning', all seven albums (cd/lp/mp3) re-mastered in replicated original artwork, have now re-issued all seven albums as 'the crassical collection', (cd/mp3) all doubles with extra material, covers that when put together (except for '...1984') form a large crass logo, real nice actually, but retailing at £18 a pop? if it had been pink floyd, i'd have been the first to shout 'rip off', so............?

but i got my own issues - i dreamt i was a professional clown called 'mr jobby', and woke up with 'give a little love' by the bay city rollers in my head!
whit's aw that aboot?

duke, their supporters would tear them new ones if they employed that as a tactic.

sera's post explains the official line from the sfa, but rose says in the programme that she is uncertain why she was banned, and was never notified of the ban or had it explained. despite all the barriers in her way, she hit the absolute pinnacle of women's football, such was her determination. that's why she's the only woman (c'mon, wake up, sfa, get julie fleeting in there pronto (and others)) in the hall of fame, and the only british woman to hold a world cup winner's medal.

bbc alba ran a 1 hour docu/bio on the legendary rose reilly last night. as you know rose was a pioneer in women's football, played for scotland, and then (when she was banned from scottish football), italy, with whom she scored 1, made 1, in the world cup final of 1984, and came from my home town of stewarton. great stuff, i imagine it's on the i-player, if you don't mind the gaelic commentary (sub-titled).
mrs tech asked why i bothered to watch it, as i see her out walking her dog most times i'm in stewarton. mrs tech does not care for football.

"hand the Phone" over to mrs tech - that would get a result!!!!!
it's not as if it cost me anything.......and yet, i strangely feel ripped off!
btw, put a couple of fresh pics of lux'n'bob (it's nearly a country) and us on my profile.

ready to throw the useless piece of cheap junk oot the windae!
oh, it's not looking good, manufacturers of this keech!
if it's ruined my cassette of 'spotlight on scott walker' they'll hear from me, the bastids!

the 2nd of only two albums made, both produced by individuals called 'augustus', this is a brilliant example of 3 part harmony in showcase style at the onset of dancehall.
having enjoyed mrs tech's forages into rammstein and lindemann. far less impressed by richard kruspe's side project,

look's like a blatant attempt to mine the u.s pop/punk market, and is kinda piss poor - but don't tell mrs tech, she likes it.

came up on vine listings, and tbh, ( interlude - neighbours and us scrambled to back door by sounds of cat fight - as usual, 2nd prize to an almost identical blac cat - lux chased it away - we actually pulled a bit of claw out of his neck, settled and uninjured now) looks kinda cheap and nasty, however, i'll go and rake out some tapes and see how it goes.

I have a similar complaint about Midsomer Murders and Lewis. ITV keep showing them.
