ha! thankyou.the choir ran through some old staples and were very good, achieving the highest viewing figures of the evening (60).
the trama dolls followed, and were 7 levels of abysmal, re-hashing a new york dolls thing about 45 years too late. stank.
then i just lost interest.

'rah! for me! gratifying that two dubs top the list, but at the same time a pity, as the vocals and harmonies of 'prime time' aswad were particularly effective. at least (for me) the winning songs were all from that era.

after weeks of familiarising myself with the re-mix album,
testdept.bandcamp.com/album/disturban..., the source album eventually arived (from the delta quadrant, i think). terrific protest noise from (as one reviewer put it) angry grandads, first album for 20 years, obvs 1st of the century - this is the kind of stuff we/i/you need - purposeful and direct and inventive and fresh...........and angry!

xmas is proving to be hazardous to my health and well being - apart from multi-testing and kevin the ****ing carrot! - upon getting xmas boxes (decs, cards etc) down from the loft, i opened up my thumb on a shard of broken plastic lid, followed shortly by smashing my wee toe off corner of kitchen unit whilst porting boxes to 're-cyc' (everyone loves a 2000ad ref.!) - apart from the searing pain, my toe stuck out about 45 degrees more than usual, so i 'poked' it back into place with a satisfying/worrying click. since then it's been ****ing agony, but mrs tech (tbf, she knows her stuff) says 'suck it up, the nhs ain't gonna be bothered about your broken toe'! starting to darken now, best just to strap it to next toe and ..er........suck it up, i suppose! and that was just sorting thru' decs, there's still the application ahead - oh globbits!
it is the wee yins b/day today (and lux's), so (replacement) kevin has left the building.don't worry, i'll get my reward in hell!
