anyhoo, mrs tech and myself joined jnr and his family for lunch yesterday inside (yes, INSIDE!) a pub/restaurant in stewarton. it felt absolutely strange and a little bewildering - i thought he'd booked an outside table - but once settled, very nice. soft drinks only, not an issue, very good tablet and salted caramel ice cream crunch (you know it!). of course we got saddled with the bill!

sure, might as well be jailed for a spree!

was the first record i owned - it was a groundbreaking song, concerned with mental health issues and the research and development of drugs to combat the complicated conditions of the unfortunate individuals outlined in the song. they were the only band to stand up and be counted for highlighting the plight of these poor, poor souls. respect!

i'd love to get myself a new barber - mine's is erratic, unpredictable, and quite often, a huffy bastid! he's too expensive and his patter's like watter, but he does a reasonable job............i guess i'm just used to him and his carry on!

your local council will operate a 'community alarm'/'crisis centre' system whereby you can summon help by pressing a button worn on a wristlet or a lanyard, and speak to an operative thru' a comms system placed centrally in your house (works from landline socket). if reqd (day or night) they will send out individuals to assist, and if it's anything like the ayrshire operation, nothing is too much trouble for them. they will install a key safe outside your front door for access, and the charge is around £12-£13 a month. s.w. or coucil can get you set up. it really is a great system (which works) with focus on the best outcomes.

enquirers seem to think it's their right for a lower price if you go off-discogs. more often than not, if photos are requested they don't follow up. one guy marvelled at the condition of my 'specials' album, said it looks unplayed, but didn't buy it. mrs t, says some may use the photos to sell inferior copies - i should personalise photos.
