268590 loudest?

out of a lot of louds, it's unquestionably motorhead at the apollo, indicated by the 10 days partial deafness after it. i went with a metal pal (mickey?) but none of his metal mates liked motorhead, none of my punk pals liked them. first 'big' tour, had too many speakers. you had to wait till the chorus to get a clue to which song they were playing! i enjoyed it on that basis.

sleaziest?

lux interior just effortlessly oozed sleaziness. i mean a 6'6'' man in a tight pvc thong and size 12 stiletto heels? and remember, those were different days, and that was the glasgow barrowlands, which despite it's lofty reputation, was/still is a mawkit, mingin', sleazy shitehole. so a 2 for 1 answer!

268590 several times in the last couple of days, the wonderful (well, to be honest, the better than i thought, no bad for 41 years old, sounding better than ever (re-mastered even), some bits are actually quite guid, soon to be available (from me)),

'(revenged) memories of auld kilmarnock toon, no.23.........the badger sisters'

43+ minutes of sound on a disc! what more do you need?

268590 quality control undertaken - yes, there is music on every disc, labels have arrived - printing plans underway, design settled upon, inserts prepared for hand written info to be undertaken, (different) sleeve material due to arrive, for 'promo'/participants copies, and enough left to commence 2nd run (mibbe being too optimistic here).

268590 yeah, 'squid game' - watched 5 eps today whilst transferring files to CD- very good, both stylish and clumsy, and yes, 'moreish'. a few holes poked in it, but rattles along fine style.

268590 the latest, and i think, the last in the series of crass re-mixes (along with the download album 'normal never was, that makes 249 mixes!), is perhaps the best of all 'living asylum', mixed by youth is 6:38 of belligerant bliss,

268590 sleeves finished - had just enough wood effect paper for the first 20, and at that, 1 has the grain running left to right, 2 are patched, tracks all have a title, labels are on their way, got someone to print them - still considering info insert, might go handwritten for first run.................yeah, and put music on the discs, that's quite important.
268590 i need a mega-rich buyer to halt the downward spiral,

1 - chelsea +17 - DP
2 - man city +15
3 - liverpool+16
4 - west ham +6
5 - everton +5
6 - man utd +6

18 - burnley -8
19 - newcastle -10
20 - norwich -18

268590 thanks folks, looks like i may be set for release mibbe early next month. i am expecting a cd quality file from n.y. later today hopefully, everything else is just diy, except label and printing off (which as we don't have a printer at the moment, will be the only time the project has gone 'out of house')............and titling 5 of the eight tracks (running time, 40 mins (what? are we yes? no!). it has a new title asi never liked the original 'a study in gears' (sh*te!), and will be '(revenged) memories of auld kilmarnock toon, no.23......the badger sisters', catchy, huh?

268590 record sales a little quiet currently. last few weeks bringing in between £25 and £100 per week - trending; the cramps.

in a more positive vein, cdr re-issue of the badger sisters album will be going ahead either 'as is' or 'tweaked'. have begun constructing the unique sleeves for a limited run of 20 numbered copies initially (colour-coded, yellow) - will retail at probably around £7 - got to fairly apportion payment to all participants.
not at the point of taking pre-orders yet, but if you wish to reserve a copy (for some reason!) contact me to do so at;

cwhite.1961@outlook.com

numbers will be allocated on first come basis - 1-20 up for grabs. will also be selling through discogs.
ten further copies will be made for participants etc (colour-coded, green, and personalised) and won't be available for retail.
268590 efterkjs,

268590 "Story Of Ricky (Nam Nai-Choi)"

bought this special ed. blue ray for junior's birthday last month - am looking forward to a watch. says it's ridiculously violent, i mean the cover graphic, slicing a dude's heid in hauf? my kind of movie, it would seem.

268590 very innaresting concept, and a very successful one,

pressuresounds.bandcamp.com/album/pra...

in which several classic barry brown singles and dubs are (re)mixed in contemporary style by the italian paolo baldini (dubfiles) who obvs has more advanced equipment than was available at the likes of channel one or king tubby's studios - coulda been a recipe for a mess, but this has been undertaken with a real feel and respect for the originals. sound is pristine but echoes the golden age loud and clear - hard and heavy.
wonder if this practice might become a 'thing'.

actually, brilliant.
268590 i was a bit the same with time this week, but tim,.................nah, widnae huv voted for it!
