222868 Thanks Everyone with the info about the Kelley Armstrong series. I'm thinking about getting it.

On audio, I just finished Feverborn. Feverborn (Fever, #8) by Karen Marie Moning
Wow what a mishmash of storylines. I hope that all of these come to fruition in the series arc conclusion in Feversong.

On kindle I finished The Alabaster Hip. The Alabaster Hip (The Regency Romp Trilogy, #3) by Maggie Fenton

There were so many funny scenes in this book. I found that they made the story so much more believable. I hope that Fenton returns to this crazy group of friends soon.

Now I am at a loss to pick out the next book to read. I've had a good run of fun reads, but I don't think that I have very many more of those left. I'm just going to have to randomly pick something.

222868 Did anyone read the latest Kelley Armstrong series? City of the Lost City of the Lost (Casey Duncan, #1) by Kelley Armstrong It is a mystery/crime story. The third book just came out and it was one of those "recommended for you" novels. I've never heard of this series. I miss her Elena, Clay, and family novellas.

I started listening to Feverborn. Feverborn (Fever, #8) by Karen Marie Moning
Without giving anything away, what a series of weird twists this book has. I really can't wait to listen to Feversong. Feversong (Fever, #9) by Karen Marie Moning

On kindle, I am reading The Alabaster Hip. The Alabaster Hip (The Regency Romp Trilogy, #3) by Maggie Fenton
I started this book and abandoned it for something shiny. I love Fenton's writing. I listened to the first two books, and really enjoyed them too.

222868 I would have to say that I will be reading Burn Bright Burn Bright (Alpha & Omega, #5; Mercy Thompson World - Complete, #15) by Patricia Briggs and then Lake Silence Lake Silence (The Others, #6) by Anne Bishop after that. If we were still in the same location in The Others series, I might be tempted to read that first.

At the end of March will be Hot and Badgered Hot and Badgered (The Honey Badgers, #1) by Shelly Laurenston

Then May 1st Dark Queen Dark Queen (Jane Yellowrock, #12) by Faith Hunter comes out.

In August the next Alex Verus book, Marked Marked (Alex Verus, #9) by Benedict Jacka I hope that the audio is out at the same time.

September 25th brings Phoenix Unbound Phoenix Unbound (Fallen Empire, #1) by Grace Draven

I can't wait for Grace Draven's latest Wraith Kings novel to come out, and of course, Magic Triumphs. Magic Triumphs (Kate Daniels, #10) by Ilona Andrews

Someday, I will be able to anticipate the next Song of Ice and Fire book, The Winds of Winter The Winds of Winter (A Song of Ice and Fire, #6) by George R.R. Martin , probably not in the near future though.
At some point, (preferably this year), I hope that the latest Miss Fortune book, Change of Fortune Change of Fortune (Miss Fortune Mystery, #11) by Jana Deleon will be out in audio.

I'm sure that there are lots of books that I am forgetting.

Did anyone know that Michelle Diener has a two novella book out set in a new universe? it is Interference & Insurgency Interference & Insurgency by Michelle Diener

On audio I finished Shadow Hunt. Shadow Hunt (Disrupted Magic, #3) by Melissa F. Olson I really liked it, and I can't wait for the next book. I think that Olsen has really hit her stride in this latest novel in the Disruptred Magic series. It was also nice to have a bit of Lex from the Boundary Magic series appear in this book. I would give this 4.5- 5*'s. Now I don't know what to read.

On kindle, I finished a book that was on my TBR forever and was a part of the Girls, Guns, and Grimoire's Pick it for me February challenge, Eternal Seduction. Eternal Seduction (A Darkness Within, #1) by Jennifer Turner In the end I liked it and I am sorry to see that the next book is only available as a paperback book, and that there is no kindle edition. I like her take on the Vampire world and I would have liked to see the author give some of the main characters an HEA, but as Demetra said, she stopped writing. That's sad, I hope that nothing happened to her.

222868 LAB... I happen to really like the Maiden Lane series. It takes a couple of books to get the overall scope of the series, and into the underlying mysteries. I listened to the first couple and put them on my TBR list as soon as the next one is published. I tend to like darker stories, even in my historical reads.

222868 I've been reading a few books from my TBR pile that have been hanging around for a while.
Total Eclipse of The Hunt Total Eclipse of The Hunt (The Happily Everlasting Series, #5) by Mandy M. Roth
and
Curses and Cupcakes Curses and Cupcakes (The Happily Everlasting Series, #6) by Michelle M. Pillow both are in the imaginary town of Everlasting, ME. They are light and quick to read books, some are better than others but all have a supernatural bend to them. These book are written by multiple authors.

222868 LAB... Really? Another Cliffhanger? UGH!! Did you read the last book? Arcana Rising Arcana Rising (The Arcana Chronicles, #4) by Kresley Cole I stopped at the filler one, Day Zero Day Zero (The Arcana Chronicles, #3.5) by Kresley Cole while we waited to see what happened to the missing arcana we got a novella about others and who they lost. I thought that it was unnecessary, and to call it a book...

222868 For those who have read Kresley Cole's Arcana Chronicles book 6 just came out, The Dark Calling. The Dark Calling (The Arcana Chronicles, #5) by Kresley Cole
I might pick this up eventually, but I listen to these in audio and I'm not sure that it has been released yet.

222868 I'm on somewhat of a reading marathon myself. I have been reading KMM's Fever series. I finally finished Burned Burned (Fever, #7) by Karen Marie Moning and I only gave it 3*s. I cannot get over how much of a floor mat that Mac was. Until something "special" happened to her, I thought that I was reading about a totally different character in this book.

The book also felt very fragmented to me. While all of the sub-plots are supposed to add to the overall plot, they are just that, little pieces of shattered pottery. I couldn't wait to stop listening to this book. Yes, a couple of revelations appear and the ending was climatic, but for most of the book we listen to Mac mull the same things over and over in her head. I am going to wait to listen to the next book, Feverborn Feverborn (Fever, #8) by Karen Marie Moning

That said, I started to listen to the latest Disrupted Magic book, and it just starts out with a bang and keeps on going. I'm about 3 hours into Shadow Hunt Shadow Hunt (Disrupted Magic, #3) by Melissa F. Olson and it has been exciting from the beginning. I really like this series and I think that the Scarlett character and even the Molly character has really evolved. I am a dedicated reader of this series.

222868 I never usually look at book prices because I listen to books on audible and read them on kindle. Got a peek at these prices, I am amazed.

All that and free shipping too, I'll jump right on that, not!

222868 Demetra... Wow, I do like the Eternal Seduction story so far. I didn't realize that there is a sequel. The books are no longer in the kindle format, and I have had Eternal seduction in my TBR for a long time. That's too bad that she stopped writing, I think that she has a unique way about her and a good grasp of snark.

222868 I think that the reason that a lot of our books aren't showing up is because a revision or newer version of a book has come out. Every once in a while I see a book that I read ages ago on my kindle's first page. I think that is what is happening. Sometimes on your Amazon content page it has a notation about a new version. If I have read the book and others after it, I don't bother, but I don't think that Amazon always asks.

My husband and I were traveling for his business this weekend so I read a couple of quick books. Becoming A Vincent Becoming A Vincent (The Wild Ones, #1) by C.M. Owens and Going Wild Going Wild (The Wild Ones, #2) by C.M. Owens were a lot of fun and easy to get back to when I had to interrupt my reading for dumb things like navigating and such.
I also read Miss Frost Braves The Blizzard: A Nocturne Falls Mystery Miss Frost Braves The Blizzard A Nocturne Falls Mystery (Jayne Frost, #5) by Kristen Painter , which I really enjoyed. I like the "new" boyfriend Sinclair.
I also started the one of the more recent Happily Everlasting Series books, Total Eclipse of The Hunt. Total Eclipse of The Hunt (The Happily Everlasting Series, #5) by Mandy M. Roth

I have also started a February Reading Challenge pick it for me book, Eternal Seduction. Eternal Seduction (A Darkness Within, #1) by Jennifer Turner It's not the greatest writing, but I do like the h's irreverence towards the Vampire "lord". Apparently he finds it fascinating too.
On audio, I am still slogging through, Burned, Burned (Fever, #7) by Karen Marie Moning which for some reason is dragging for me. I want the good stuff, I need an editor, please!

The latest Jana DeLeon book, Change of Fortune Change of Fortune (A Miss Fortune Mystery Book 11) by Jana Deleon Just came out this week, sadly, once again the audio is in production and won't be out again for ages. Boo! I do wish that she would stop releasing the audio 6 months after the book release.

Liz... Ilona Andrews are on their final edits and releasing Magic Triumphs Magic Triumphs (Kate Daniels, #10) by Ilona Andrews to only 5 beta readers so they are intently focused on the last Kate Daniels book.

222868 Lisa... I have a Voyage for my purse and a Fire HD 7 for home. I lent my friend my Paperwhite and it is still going strong. Each has it's advantages. My Voyage is quicker than my Fire to load, but it is only black and white. I always buy a Kindle with the Cellular and WiFi. If you want to listen, some are blue-tooth enabled. I use my Fire like a tablet when I travel, it's good for reading e-mails, but not good in the sun. When my Dad was in the hospital, we took turns staying with him at night and I used my Fire to watch movies. I recommend always using a case, and they have the advantage of being able to prop up your kindle to read while doing something else, like eating. I do miss my keyboards, each died a painful death. :-(

So, I am listening to Burned.
Burned (Fever, #7) by Karen Marie Moning
What the heck happened to Mac? She is so depressing. She stinks in more ways than one. I'm about half way through and she is a pathetic "shade" of herself. Barrons too, he is usually stand off--ish but here he is a jerk, more so than usual.

222868 Lisa... You can answer this or not. A couple of things are kind of nagging at me. When Dani and Chris return from the White Mansion, (right before the Crimson hag emerges), Ryodan tells Barrons to close that particular entrance to Fairy and to the White Mansion. This is also close to the back of the bookstore. Why? The White Mansion is the domain of the Unseelie King, right? Is that what Barrons is? The Unseelie King, or a prince or something?
Why was Dani able to cross through the brick wall? Does it have something to do with what she is? You can answer or not, I'm just too curious for my own good. ;-) Also because of the ending of Iced, Iced (Fever, #6) by Karen Marie Moning I am going to read Burned. Burned (Fever, #7) by Karen Marie Moning

222868 Lisa... I do actually like the Dani book. I'm listening to it, and it takes some getting used to, but I am used to her manic speech. I constantly feel just a little bit off center, kind of like Dani. This whole book seems like a preview for something else.
A lot of people don't like the next book, Burned. Burned (Fever, #7) by Karen Marie Moning What did you think?

222868 The Audie Award finalists for 2018 are out and one of the books for paranormal is Finding My Pack Finding My Pack (My Pack, #1) by Lane Whitt Has anyone here read this? How is it?

I am about 3/4 into Iced. Iced (Fever, #6) by Karen Marie Moning I don't have anymore books in this series. What is the consensus, are the rest of the series worth reading? Also, I thought that the last book was Feversong. Feversong (Fever, #9) by Karen Marie Moning I see that there will be another "Dani" book out on March 6th. High Voltage. High Voltage (Fever, #10) by Karen Marie Moning
