Chapter 31. Ok, the side story just got super interesting. Go back to that one, don't tell me he's imagining people, a killer and then leave me hanging!

Is 12 too many characters to list?

I suspected so, but had to ask as Ghost is my favourite.

Further into Chapter 30. Ok, I did not see that coming, but I like the idea. It brings up even more questions though, esp. After she has hooked up with Isaac (really? Did we need more romance?)

I like the origin Andrew story, just not the romance side. I totally get that I am the exception to the rule when it comes to this and have resigned myself to romance appearing in most books. As long as it plays a minor role, I have learnt to deal with it.

End of chapter 18. Yay, finally some reason for the boring romance story. No offense, I know most people like the romance side, but I am not one of them.

My battery died at the end of Chapter 11 last night. Arrgh... Anyway, I have a couple of hours free this morning, so lets see how far I can get.

The world in the story is so interesting. The fact that gene manipulation is possible adds an interesting dynamic. I am very much an animal person, so I love that it is the human part of the anubins that makes them bad. I want to know why cocaine is legal, I hope we find out.

Bracing myself for the bad news, how long do we have to wait for the next one in the series?

Finished Chapter 8. I love Andrew, he is so fascinating. I'm not sure about Isaac, some scenes I think he is great and others he is an idiot.

It does feel a bit like reading two books at once because the stories do not have any connection as yet. The not-a-butler cracks me up. He will not carry a bag but will cook and clean up after Rob.

Finished chapter 1. I think I'm really going to enjoy this, even if there is a bit more gory descriptions than I'm used to.
