Quick note to say that I've been without internet since Wed afternoon. Had someone out here today messing with it, but it's still being spotty. :/
Thanks to Angie for keeping things going!! :D I hope to get caught up tonight/tomorrow, if the internet continues to work. Fingers crossed! :)

If you wanna chat about Call Me Daddy, feel free to message me. I haven't read any ageplay books, but really want/need to. :D

Day 8 was a lost cause for me. An acquaintance needed a ride 3 hours away to the airport. So I drove with her out there, then drove her car back here. I was outta the house for about 9 hours. It was great! I rarely leave the house, that was the first time since Jan, so it was so fun for me. :D
So I only did a little tiny bit of reading.

Quiet day of reading for me, needed a bit of a break, though I wish I'd taken it today (Mon) instead of yesterday, so we'll see if it's a quiet day today too.

My Hubby got me into Reilly years ago by introducing me to Ice Station I got hooked on Reilly's over-the-top action right away and have now read everything he's written. I was worried I'd hate The Tournament & Troll Mountain: The Complete Novel as they were out of my pretty much non-existent "comfort zone", but I enjoyed them both. The only book of his I really don't like is Contest, and I'm unsure why. I tried to read it again last year and just couldn't get into it. I'd like to try again sometime.
I couldn't, however, get into Rollins. I only read the first one of the Sigma's and really didn't like it. I started the 2nd but it never kept my attention. Do you have other suggestions for authors like Reilly? I couldn't get into the David Goleman series Event Group either. For action like Reilly, I like Andy McDermott's Chase & Wilde series and most everything Jeremy Robinson writes.
I agree on Patterson, though I can report that IMO Murder Games was superb! I loved the characters and the story of it. It had that fast pace of Patterson but the story was original and the characters were awesome. Best one by "him" I've read in a while. :)

Mine would be theme park or video game related. I suppose theme parks all have their own themed hotels but they really usually aren't about actual theme parks. Have beds that are old coaster cars and such. :)
Video games would be the best though, like a Skyrim or Overwatch completely themed hotel, with different areas being different places/worlds. So much could be done!

We quote movies (and tv shows) ALLLLLL the time. My quoting typically comes from The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, ST: First Contact, Con Air and a bunch of others. Something always comes with a quote with us.

My only face to face interactions are with my Hubby and we've never lied to each other. I don't like liars so it's been a while since I lied, years and years.
If I could only take one carry-on sized back, I'd pack Widget into it (my gaming PC), my Mini and my Kindle. Have those and my Hubby and I don't need anything else. :D

I was all over the place on Day 5. :)

We're all about broadening reading. I used to only read Romantic Suspense, but now I read anything that sounds good to me. My reading sure has changed over the years, I love it! :D

I only kiss my Hubby now. I love to kiss, I've always been a touchy feely type person. Luckily my Hubby is too so we're always kissing. On a day He works we probably kiss 10-20 times? I dunno, never really counted. When He's off, it's all the time. :) Often He'll say something like "pick a number between 1 & 7" and I'll say something like "17" and He'll kiss me 17 times all over my face. :D
I only like romance when there's action too. I can't stand just romance on it's own and read very little of it, at the very least I read romantic suspense. My favorite romance book would probably be

I dunno if I have a favorite romantic couple, I have one, but there was no romance in the book (too young) but I imagine it growing into it, and they would be my favorite. Of actual ones, Roarke & Dallas from the In Death series I suppose. I LOVE LOVE that she (the author) is not giving them children and I love how they act with each other.

I love read-a-thons as well, and like Angie, Dewey's (a 24 hour Rat) and Bout of Books (a week long RaT) are my favorites. I've always stayed up the full 24 hours for all the Dewey's I've done, so that's always great fun. When both come around again, we'll post about 'em.

I never go anywhere without my Kindle as well. It's much easier than how I use to lug around a few hard cover books. :)
I hope you find challenges you like here!
