213642 Sam is correct Kim. You'd have to do at least 2 of Ch 1. I'll clarify the rules a bit more for people joining in after we started. Luckily Ch 2 has been off to a slow start and we have no completions for it yet, so you should be able to catch up quickly. :)

213642 Howdy Kim!

Glad you are liking the group. Wooo!! :)

We don't really have a set place to notify of all new things yet, since we put something new up pretty much weekly or more. I've just been doing the notice board after I've put up a few things.

I'll put up a new thread tomorrow that I'll keep unlocked and put all updates there, that way anyone can get notifications from it.

213642 Angie!! :) I think I've gotten to know her pretty well over the past year and a half now since we first started chatting on GR? Somewhere around there. We're a LOT alike, which is kind scary. We haven't met but we chat here on Goodreads several times a day (an hour sometimes). LOL! Hopefully we'll meet one day since we actually don't live far from each other, I just don't have a car. :(

My bike was a biggie too Caly, but I'd say my RC cars too. We'd go to RC races and I had my RC cars that we'd run around all over the place. If we could afford it, I think I'd be a Drone nut, I've always loved Remote Controlled anything, I've never had any that flew tho. (Not yet!)

213642 I'd go to WDW. Between underground tunnels and behind the scenes areas, I could get lost a long time there. :)

I'd be a kisser, definitely. :) Not here though, ewwww, but somewhere like Vegas or San Fran where it probably wouldn't seem weird and there's a crapton of people so I'd get rich fast. Yes please!! :D

213642 American Ninja Warrior & How To Get Away With Murder.

Sorry, thought of typing HTGAWM out, but figured a lot of people would know it. :)

213642 If I never get lost, I probably wouldn't get lost, right? If I were able to, I suppose town, cuz at least there'd be places to go and ask, where if it was a big enough forest, you might not get out. :)

I still watch cartoons. :) As a child, I was into Inspector Gadget, Looney Toons, GI Joe, Smurfs, Laff-o-Lympics & other Hanna Barbara stuff like Jetsons, Flintstones and especially Scooby-Doo.

Most recently, a few months ago now, we watched Gravity Falls and enjoyed that a lot. I will also occasionally watch MLP, Scooby and found some Laff-o-Lympics and watched those. There's some others I want to try, but between gaming, books, ANW, our sports (baseball right now) I just don't watch much else.

213642 I was never big into reality shows and only ever watched a few. Back when they first started I watched Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother and a handful of other competition ones. My two favorites only lasted 2 seasons or less, which were "The Mole" and "Whodunnit". Loved 'em both, but they didn't last. :(

Now the only reality show I watch is American Ninja Warrior. I've been watching since before ANW when they were still going to Japan to go to Sasuke. I religiously watch every year, and they are currently doing city finals for Season 9 of ANW.

I don't watch a lot of TV in general (ANW an exception). I usually find a new favorite occasionally and stick with that, but don't watch a whole lot. With the upcoming season we'll watch HTGAWM (though still sad at the end of last seasons) and I think that will be it. We'll definitely watch Westworld when it comes back. My binge watching is usually for Warehouse 13 (my all time FAVORITE Show), ST Voyager, or Lost. Just started rewatching WH13 last weekend. :D

213642 You have great handwriting Kim, I love it, it's pretty! You know what my chicken scratch is like. :/ I dunno if I knew that about you either, sorry the same thing happened to you. It's the only thing I believe the birthmonster on because she was one of those left handed people who believed she was better than everyone else so I know she wouldn't have wanted me switched.

213642 I thought you liked "Whose Line is it Anyways" Kim. I never got you to go to SAK with me? I guess that would have been too far for you when you were living in Daytona.

I don't like most comedy/humor at all, I don't have much of a sense of humor. But I love Improv. I actually got into Improv when I gave my ex lessons to SAK Comedy Lab, the place where Wayne Brady and Jonathan Mangum got started. My ex ended up only sticking with it a few years after we split, but he had been good, very into physical improv like Wayne.

213642 LOL Jingles ~ That's Angie. We went back to our normal pics, the paw prints were probably too similar and with the mod account. My silly story isn't nearly as good.

As for being lost, I've never been lost. My Hubby and I had a discussion about it. Even if I took a wrong turn and didn't know exactly where I was, I've never been lost. I'm super good with directions, if I've been somewhere a handful of times, I can get back without a map/directions. The only exception would be someone I know who lives in GA, there were so many turns to get to their place and that was 15 years ago, I couldn't get there now. But I could get around anywhere in my childhood hometown/area, as well as most/all of central FL. I'm just really good with directions, unlike my Hubby who thankfully only has to walk in a straight line to get to work. LOL!

The only thing I could think of wasn't really a convincing, it was an April Fool's thing. There was this DJ of a radio station I hung out at and he thought I was older than I was. I was only 16, he thought I was 20 so on April Fools I told him I was 20. It was all silly and weird and I didn't let him continue to think I was older than I was.

213642 The most useful thing we own is Widget, my gaming computer. He's in use 100% of our waking hours, I'm using him right now to type this. :)

He's awesome. We have him hooked up to our TV, which is pretty big, so I play all my games on him. My Ghetto laptop is about 7 years old and is so slow, so everything I do online or gaming is on Widget, unless we're watching baseball, then I'm on the Ghetto. I call it Ghetto because it's keyboard doesn't work so I've plugged another keyboard into it and it's on top of the normal keyboard. :/

I'd get rid of ALL holidays. Holidays are stupid, IMO. But that's just me, I look at the world differently. If I had to pick one, it would definitely be "thanksgiving". The one day of year when everyone is "thankful" for everything they complain about 364 days of the year. I will spare you all my thanksgiving rant, but I hate that day/holiday.
Aug 07, 2017 07:04AM

213642 No love for this one. :)

I think I'll pass on the first one.

I didn't go anywhere that weekend, or any weekend. We're stuck in our little tiny town (no car) so I've actually only left this town about 8 times now, in the last 5 years.

213642 I'd do experiments of a more sexual nature. :) It'd be fun to see how people would be if their inhibitions / fears / beliefs were removed and everyone could just love on everyone else. ;)

Something in the Gorilla family, definitely. Gorillas, Apes, they'd all be so rude! :D
Aug 06, 2017 07:46PM

213642 I saw your rating, I was so sad! :( But I never hate you. I'm sorry it wasn't something you could get into.

I'm glad you liked the Taken series, I knew you would, I can't believe I didn't have you read it way back when I read it.

213642 So did y'all watch Improvaganza when it was on?

It was Jeff with Jonathan for the one I liked. It's raunchy so only watch if you don't mind sexual enuendo. Its this one was with Genie and was soooooo funny.

The Jeff and Chip funny one I was thinking of was Dust Storm, classic Jeff in that.

And since I've got these two, can't leave out Flap my Jack

I like Jeff Davis. :D

213642 Yeah, it's definitely about making sure to read for it, if you want to get through that many. Just don't make yourself, don't want you to get burnt out. The whole challenge isn't done yet, but there's a chapter coming up soon that sees quite the spike in amount of tasks/books to read.

But wait, other challenges? GASPS! We'll have to come up with a challenge that makes everyone forget all other challenges.

Oh wait, that's coming in Oct. ;)

213642 I'm a WLIIA nut. Most of the funniest things I've ever seen was on there between Ryan & Colin. I love those two. I think the hardest/longest I laughed was during Improvaganza (like WLIIA, Drew Carey hosted it for a season). It was a song that Jeff Davis did with I think Chip Esten. It was with a audience member and she was about 70/80 and she was a naughty thing. It was a very raunchy song/dance and was soooooooo freaking funny.

My Hubby and I tend to say mean/bad things when we argue and we always regret that. Luckily, we argue very rarely.

213642 LOL Jingles.

I think, unless someone is a book-a-day type, the best approach would be to do one of the first two levels, if they wanna help out moving the challenge along. Everyone can always go back and do more later, but we'll always be moving on to the next book too. :D

It is going to get to be quite a lot, and this is just the first book! :D

It's gonna get WILD!

213642 Yeah, you can't move on til you finish your level, but it's also mentioned that you can go back and finish up later. It's just a matter of if you want to do everything, or if you want to help open up the next chapter. Not all the chapters are done, but I can say that some chapters have a LOT of tasks.

It was kind of hard to decide how to work things so that everyone can do everything but it can also be moved through. For me, I'll be finishing 4-5 each time before moving on and then I may, or may not, go back to them after the challenge.

So basically I had suggested to maybe go through it the first time at a lower level to help out, then go back later on to do them all. But you certainly can do 'em all before moving on if you want to, it just might get to be a bit much at times. :D
