well, it is a bit squiggly. that is why i originally put it off many months ago. that and i couldn't get into the story. but half the time i can't read at all in the story. so sometimes it's a poor judge if the book is worth purchasing or not. sometimes i have to give it to my sister or boyfriend and tell them to read some of it anf tell me if i'll like it. lol.
with utena, i'm not so sure. i think it's really good. but it is weird. and i don't mean that lightly. but the manga makes more sense than the movie. and there is an anime, but i've never seen it.

yeah, i might have to take sleeping breaks instead of reading breaks. geez! one of these months i will read the book of the month! rawr! it will happen i say! it will!

i know! and the fact that there isn't many words too. really makes you think about what is being said

i guess so. though i've found myself using that term more often than when it first started being used like ten years ago. i dislike it even when it comes out of my mouth. i try not to use it often at all. i believe that gay shouldn't be tied with such a negative contation, and it is just icky to use. i think i use "douchebag" more often than "gay," and it's truly rare for me to use that phrase. i need a better vocab

i figured as much. you know with the back saying about a good girl/bad boy deal. though i disliked that aspect in "kare first love." i pretty much stopped reading it after what's-his-face started pressuring karin to have sex. i felt he was a jerk and she should more on. but whatever.
is mars better than that?

yes, i agree. it's also tough to find people interested who also come on goodreads on a regular basis. but i think as the group gets bigger, there will be more activity. yeppers

wow! before you know it, you'll be here every week! hahaha

i had to do the end of the yr state exams too. i think every state has them. in tx there are certain benchmark yrs. i think they're 4th, 8th, and 10th or 11th. i think it's 10th. anyway, if you don't pass the 4th and/or 8th grade test, you repeat the grade. if you don't pass the 10th grade test, you don't graduate. they give you 2 yrs to retest at the 10th grade before you really have to worry about graduating.

it's about a girl who is sacrificed to the water god to end the village's drought. but instead of drowning, he saves her to be his wife. it's really good. there are tons of secrets that go on in the series, and it's really interesting trying to figure everyone out

kyo is great. i think i would want one with momiji. he always made me smile.

utena is awesome. terribly weird. but awesome.
come to think of it, honey and clover is at my library too. must go and check it out...

haha. no. i don't think anyone should smoke.

they use the term "gay" to equate "stupid." lame.

they have a discounted set at half price books that i eye, but haven't purchased it yet. i've heard it's better than peach girl.

yeah. but it's tough since you can't actually invite people who aren't your friends. we could message people who have added clamp books to join the guild. person to get the most can pick the next book of the month, or something.

yay! so glad to see you're back!

well, the idea was that if there are more assignments, if a student misses a grde or two, it's still recoverable. how does this end of course assesment work?

yay! i'm excited! i'm planning on re-reading it this weekend. it'll be inbetween reading for my material culture class. i'm presenting, so i will definately need breaks. brain can only work for so long

i don't think that's a bad thing. mermaid melody is the same way. technically all of them are in middle school, but they're having at the very earliest high school type relationships.
but i esp love how simplistic clover is. they add so much detail in such a tiny space. adds a whole different depth to it

ooooo. my bride of the water god is finally being sent to me. can't wait!
