Book of the month! We're reading vol. 1-2! Yay! Feel free to chat all about these two great volumes!

added a new poll. hopefully i will be able to catch up with everyone sometime in april. school keeping me so busy...

hot gimmick is pratically a replica of peach girl. you just have to mix up the characters a bit. when it stops being peach girl, it becomes boys over flowers. lol.

yeah, i guess. it would have been tragic if ended up not liking "her."

geometry is helpful for calculating how much room you need for furniture and stuff. you know, angles, volumes, shapes, etc.

lol! i guess i should look at mine too!

me too! i have four projects due the end of the month. i even took off from work to have it done. i'm going to the library to get my sources. boo

i try to be. do you know how to make polls non-featured? that way polls aren't competing to be on the homepage. you have to go to "more polls" to get to this months poll.

that one is a good one! i only have two books of it though. i'll have to check if it's also available online. any other good books to read? they don't have to be clamp

yeah. true. it wasn't until recently that i felt that way. but when you think about it, they would be cute together.
yeah, momiji was just too cute to really have a girlfriend. lol.

post a book or series here for the book of month

new poll was created, it even has a picture! yay! anyway, it'll be up 3/1 - 3/27. i think i should add a topic for suggestions for books to read. yes, i think i will do that. that way i'm creating polls with books everyone likes.

since march's poll ended in a tie, i decided to go with
clover for a couple of reasons:
it's a clamp book, and we're a clamp group
clovers are st. patrick themed
yay! so it'll be vol. 1-4 or the big version.
from now on i'll make the volume section be like 2 or 3 volumes. it'll make it easier to fit it into our busy schedules. anyway, i'll get on to setting up the next poll and what-not.

very true. it actually takes a while to really look and assess all of the pictures in just about any manga. but if you just glance at the pictures and read the story, you can miss so much. in a way that's what makes anime so nice. you can't misinterpret how an action played out or what sort of tone statements were made with.

i haven't read that one. i've read kill me, kiss me, angel diary, magical jxr, cynical orange... my manhwa selection isn't too vast. that's basically it. i'm sure there are some others, but i can't think of them at the moment. anyway, i do see chocolat pop up a ton. i think it's a pretty popular one.

huh. is it something you would recommend? it sounds a little dramatic to me. like peach girl or hot gimmick

i'm sure you won't. most people pass with flying colors. it's mainly people who are sick one of the days that they make up later.

well, it's manhwa. so if korean comics are exotic, yes. but there's also tons of korean poems in there. i think that makes it seem exotic. plus, it adds to the mystique and beauty, and soforth. ah, lovely. but, it is confusing for the first book or two. but you either get the hang of how it is written, or it becomes better written as the volumes progress. i think it's really good.

yeah. it was fought so the british could continue to sell opium to china. a rather dark moment in history. but there are many in history.

lol. i have that luck too. but i think that's why they are main charaters. though when i recently re-read hana kimi, i must say nakasu (or however you spell his name) was my favorite. why couldn't she end up with him!!!! sano was such a, sucha, something. i'm too sleepy for words.
yes, momiji is cute all around. was slightly sad he didn't get the girl, but then i wasn't. it was a funny mixed feeling. i barely recognize him in his grown up clothes.
and what was this, birthdays?! happy birthday!
