I had forgotten to add a few to this list:At the Bottom of the Harbor
Apple of My Eye
Death at the Old Hotel
Christmas at the Mysterious Bookshop
I didn't plan to do this prompt, but I was offered a chance to borrow a book that both scared and fascinated me -- I'll Be Gone in the Dark by Michelle McNamara. It was good and it was scary.
I accomplished this one with Rachel Carson's Silent Spring -- 50 years on and still relevant, sadly!

I was about half-way through Three Wise Cats when I realized it would count for this challenge. Finished it tonight.
I crossed this one off the list with The Maltese Goddess by Lyn Hamilton, the second book in her archaeological mystery series featuring Lara McClintoch.ETA: Stalking Ivory was also the second book in the series, but I counted it for a different prompt
I am going to cross this one off with Wild by Cheryl Strayed.ETA: Tell Me Where It Hurts Also fits this prompt.

It took me some time to be sure, but it turns out that Fredrick Backman's book And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer was translated into English. All of his books are so beautifully written that I can never be sure. But I can count this book for this Prompt.
Hey, guess what?! Turns out I did this one first without realizing it.Of Mice and Men was recommended by an author I love, Barack Obama.
I did this one too!If You Lived Here, I'd Know Your Name.

Yee-haw! I discovered that the one book I just read -- The Toad Who Loved Tea (by BCer Faizy) -- was published this year. I didn't think I would cross this one off, but I did.
