20370 I'm following both your blogs now, Susan. Thanx for posting them. Are you on facebook's networked blogs?

For some reason, your adorable pic of you and your cat disappeared to be replaced by the generic "facebook user" pic and name. When I click on it, however, it shows a list of sites followed and one of them is an Egyptian site that I'm quite sure is one you follow. I noticed this odd phenomenon a few days ago but I thought it would work itself out, as usually happens on facebook.

That is exciting! Great job, Nancy!! :o)

20370 Hi all!

I changed the name/address of my book reviews blog. (The old name annoyed me a bit.) It is now:

"Romance, Old School" located at http://romanceoldschool.blogspot.com

I don't think it affects anyone already following; all the followers still show, anyway.
20370 Oh, thanx, Susan! Will do. :o)
20370 You don't have to follow both tagging "sites" Carole. There may be some in this group who don't follow Todd's for whatever reason or have never even heard of Todd's tagging list. If you don't want to participate in this, don't. There are no rules for participation in the Author Support Group. Do what you think will help you, share what helped you the most, etc. If you don't want to mess with another tagging list, there is no rule that says you have to. Todd is doing a wonderful job with his site and deserves praise for it. And maybe, with this thread, others who have not heard of it will become curious about the massively long list of books participating in "tagging" on Amazon. We are not attempting to "replace" Todd's site. Heaven forbid! Todd's list has almost as many books as Amazon, LOL!

I'm sorry this thread seems to have upset you. :o( That was definitely NOT it's intention.

For anyone curious about Todd's site, take a look: http://tagmybookonamazon.wordpress.com/

20370 I forgot to mention, the end of each post has vote buttons for anyone who either likes or loves the design. :o)

Bernadette wrote: "I think the blog looks great but Thersa's suggestion on the clickable pictures is good.

And I love the jewelery designs! Especially the betel nut necklace and the one with malachite squares and pearls."

I love the malachite one, too, but I can't seem to convince my bro to let me steal it. LOL

I'll fix the pics "tomorrow" since it is nearly 2am now.

I'm sorry, terrie. I'm not laughing at you, I swear. That just sounds so much like me...maybe we really ARE twins. :o)

20370 Thank you both very much for your input. Just for my information, what do you think of the jewelry designs themselves? Super honest opinion, if it's not too much trouble.

Thersa wrote: "I was wondering if you could do it so that when you click on the picture you get a bigger, more detailed picture."

Yeah, I need to fix that. Some of them work, others I didn't realize weren't "clickable" until earlier today and I was just too tired to mess with them then.

I hope your brother sells loads of his jewellery :o)"

I see what you mean and I like it too. I think I'll try something similar...

(Believe me, my brother hopes to sell a bunch too. LOL) :o)

Oh my goodness, Gina!! Thanx so much. Let me know how they look. When I uploaded them, I could only check a few of the formats and they looked ok but...

I'm so excited and I feel so special!! :o)

20370 Hey gang!

Ok, here's the deal: I'm making a blog of sorts for my brother. He is not a writer or even much of a reader, for that matter. He is, in my super biased opinion, a wonderful artist. (One of his sketches will be the cover for one of my upcoming books.)

The blog is for his jewelry that he designs. He does sell it but that's not my purpose in posting here. I've come to trust the opinions of this group and I'd like some honest feedback on the blog I've done for him.

For example, if you see anything missing that I should include, or if the pics don't display right, or things look squished funny, etc, please don't hesitate to tell me. I appreciate any feedback you wonderful people can give. Thank you for taking the time to look and have a lovely day!! :o)

20370 This isn't a true giveaway but I just wanted to leave a note here that all four of my books are on sale at www.smashwords.com for 50% off the list price, making them $2.48 each. The coupon code is visible on all the pages of the books participating in the sale. Thanx for looking!

Thanx so much, Bernadette! It's still not quite how I want it but it will suffice for the time being...I think...

20370 My website is still a work in progress. I went the super-easy, super basic route and used Google sites. I got my web address from 1&1 Internet for $5-6 and pointed it at my google site but I did something wrong and I don't know how to fix it. For every page clicked on, the web address doesn't change. Anyone know what I did wrong? And I don't want to call customer service. Cust Ser reps scare me. :o)

20370 Yup, Terrie. My best sales are usually Kindle books. They have slowed quite bit lately though.

Could have something to do with how little time I actually spend on Amazon these days...

Sharon, do you mind if I move Kathy's book ahead of yours? I actually promised her a novel exchange a while ago and she has already finished mine so I feel I should do it sooner rather than later. Then you don't have to feel pressured to get mine done. I promise, when I get back to yours it will be done quickly. I had trouble tearing myself way when I did! I am nearly done with Dee's so it shouldn't be long now...

Happy writing, all!
