Oooo, now I'm super intrigued. You must tell me just as soon as it goes to press. :o)

You are the second artist to say that. You have no idea how much that pleases me! :o)

What time period is your historical? What's it about? Is it going to be a steamy romance or more about the history? Sorry. I'll take a breath now. ;o)

One thing I have to admit: Many of the place names, towns and the like, I either made up or just borrowed the names. My focus was not the places but rather the people, my main characters to be precise. I am all about the emotions, what drives a person to do what they do. My novels are definitely character-driven. I'm not sure why the Regency era is the comfortable one for me to write about; it just is.

Have I totally put you off reading them yet? It seems to be what I do when anyone expresses interest. (Just FYI, I have free PDFs of each available, especially for my overseas friends since my pbs are ONLY available on the US Amazon.)

I feel so special...and terrified out of my noggin! If anyone were to notice the historical discrepancies in my novels, it would be an Austen fan like you. *cringe*

Yay! I have a fan! I find it quite ironic that my very first fan is someone who hasn't read my books. LOL :o) I feel like I have my own personal fan. heehee

Sharon wrote: "Yes, I'm a fan of my own page. :-) I see nothing wrong with that, LOL. (Plus, it allows me to see the updates on my wall so that I know they're coming through all right.)"

Very, very good point, Sharon. Thanx!

Thanx so much Sharon!

So far, all I've done is add some info and a photo album of my book covers. I'm not sure HOW to do anything else.

Also, are you all fans of your own pages?

20370 I finally set up my fan page but I'm not quite sure what to do with it now...

I had never heard of it before either. I was super, super shocked to have been selected. (I may have cried.) But the little graphic is so cute and I had fun going through blogs trying to find the bloggy friends I thought deserved the award--talk about an advanced form of torture! Not the reading of blogs but the selecting of only five from a wonderful group of bloggers. I hope no one's feelings were hurt.

If anyone is curious about its origins, there is a link on my blog post to the blog that started it all.

Ooooo, a t-shirt! I didn't think of that. VistaPrint, anyone?? ;o)

Chronologically, Betrayal is first. That's usually where I tell people to start.

If you want, Madison, we can do an e-book exchange. Betrayal for The Poisoned Apple. If you're interested. :o)

20370 Earlier, I posted in this thread that I was planning to sell autographed copies of my Regency romances from my site. Well, I'm selling them from my blog instead. I did finally get my copies and set up the paypal links and whatnot. I have them set up for List Price+free shipping. I can only do USA orders at this time; if anyone outside the US wants one, please message me here on goodreads. I will consider trading pbs for review exchanges, but I only have a very few copies of each book and a couple are already spoken for. Click the books below for blurbs.

Yeah, Kindle is only digital. For your paperback stats you'll have to check with your publisher. Amazon's only indication of pb sales is the sales rank#--which doesn't really mean a whole lot in the grand scheme of things.

20370 Jj wrote: "It sometimes makes me really mad when this occurs and I have to control my temper before I let loose and say something I'll regret. Anyone else?"

I hear ya, JJ. I refuse to give paperbacks away unless they are for a contest or a straight-up book exchange with a fellow author. I have my handy e-books to give away for free and I have absolutely no problem giving away as many as people ask for. I format them myself so there is no cost to me. I do totally understand how you feel, though. It can be very frustrating when someone claims they like your work yet they seem to think it's not good enough to pay for. Grrrrr....

20370 You have to sign into your dtp dashboard which is rather difficult to find. Amazon never makes anything easy. This link, if it doesn't go right to your dashboard, should at least let you sign in: https://dtp.amazon.com/mn/dashboard

I think...

20370 I have my books on Kindle; Amazon provides a nifty chart of sales. I also have them on Smashwords who also provides a nifty little chart. Paperback sales are tracked through my POD publisher, CreateSpace.
