I think we had it. I've certainly heard of it, but never watched it.

Book launch? What's a book launch? This is where I need serious help. I'm publishing my third book and have no idea how to 'launch' it. Third. For the other two I hit publish and then used my quiet voice on social media 'excuse me, er... excuse me, I've published a book. Is anyone out there?'

The Facebook takeover terrifies me. Yes OK, you take it over for half an hour, that's not that long. But what do I say?

I will be doing a series of tweets and Facebook posts. I've got a few hundred on a mailing list I can send to. (I rarely read mailing lists myself so I don't expect others to.) Beyond that... there is a risk of spending so many hours dedicated to (insert launch idea here) and it just not working.

Whoooooooa. OK. My issue is I'm just not pushy/self-confident enough to submit a request like that. I can send to agents and publishers and weather the rejections because ultimately they stand a chance of making money. But sending to reviewers makes me think 'who the hell do I think I am?' People have too much going on in their lives and they're not even being paid for their time. That's a lot of my problem-justifying the notion that I am worthy of submitting the request in the first place.

I sit on the side of organic reviews rather than sought after ones because I don't have the balls to ask. Excellent! Perfect outlook to have. If we had emojis mine would be the one with the raised eyebrows.

I would never do that. But that’s just me. I’d be too scared of someone having a problem with it and taking me to court or hiring a hitman or something. I am quite paranoid though!

Thanks for the shout out on the forum. I noted when I looked that the only self promo we are allowed to do is in our signatures. I'm not very good at joining places that have so many rules. I live in fear of forgetting them and getting into trouble.

Hmmm. You never want to get your TNT mixed up with your tampons. Not even a cheap thrill. Wrong kind of explosion.

Even if it did look like a cover full of tampons, I fail to see the issue.

I would currently like to remove my left eye and put it in cold storage. It's irritated and I think the antibiotic eye drops are making it worse. Consequently I have promo preparations I can't face doing.

I've heard of that. I think there's a risk of that from having my injection. Something like less than 0.1%. I laugh in the face of anything under 1%!

But laser is destructive to the eye, it's quite possible you were in worse shape with that than I was with a bit of metal sticking out of my eyeball. (I can hear my sister saying 'Deborah, you nasty bugger' or something like that!)
