Missing Remnants. If only has 4 reviews. Three 5* and one 3*. I’ll have to get sending to bloggers. Then again them knocking me back saved me money. Heavy household expenses here at the moment.
Thanks Alex. I try to make up for a lack of expertise with humour. I’m behind. I’ve missed an entire week on Medium this week. I have something with a gross ending lined up for next week.
Thank you. I know I should. I just don’t feel qualified to write about writing. I don’t sell enough books or have enough reviews for me to feel justified that my opinions on the subject are worth reading.
I almost submitted something to the Writing Cooperative but ultimately felt unworthy so didn’t follow through. If it has a boost in earnings attached I would have to take that opportunity. So I’m also hoping someone answers.
For the reason of too much profanity-I don’t like the film Goodfellas. I’m not sure I even finished watching it. Yet it’s apparently brilliant. One book I read years ago started with the word shitshitshitshitshit. I thought that was a peculiar choice for an opening. I was possibly underwhelmed by the rest of the book-I can’t remember anything else about it.
I had a high tech swear jar in Missing Remnants that Detective Track was single-handedly contributing to. I couldn’t have that if he’d wandered around muttering “oh dear me”.
Ah, Ted you’ve worded that very well. Snowflakes. That is actually my view on people who have a problem with profanity in books. I have never lived in that kind of bubble. I’m also English. Some of us really know how to swear.
I hit a few things on the screen on my phone and saw the review. He’s quite amusing. Not a fan of the book then. Lol.
