Did you use the Amazon Kids' Book Creator tool for your conversion? I love that tool!

I have moved away from even mentioning reviews when I sell or giveaway books. There have been too many situations lately where reviewers and authors have had reviews removed because someone reported them for swapping or trading a product in expectation of a review. Most of these cases were taken out of context or misinterpreted. I have decided not to take a chance. That is my personal feeling though.

We are still in need of authors for our July 26th takeover on the Navigating Indieworld group page. See message 85 for the sign up link. The children's authors are representing so far, any other genre authors out there? ;) These slots are 45 minutes long with 15 minute breaks in between. 7 slots left!

Thanks D.J. :) Changed my password, nothing changed, no new admins, no strange plugins. Feeling better about it now. I did learn a lot in the past hour about what backlinks are. Basically, they would link my website to negative rated websites to screw up my search engine optimization. You can disable bad links for free. Looking them up is a different story. Most places want to you pay to see all your backlinks.

Normally I don't, but this was sent to me as a message directly from my contact form on my website so it didn't send up a red flag at first glance.

I just received this email from my contact page on my website. I am still learning all this. What is it and should I be concerned? I am not responding to the email.

I send spam backlinks to your website and now I request that you order my gigs to remove them. If you do not order, I send more spam backlinks to destroy your site. You understand me? I agree, D.J. :) I was pleasantly surprised to be getting that much. It has been a good break. I have been a little stuck on ideas too so hopefully the break will get the creative juices flowing again.

Way to go everyone! I am getting $7 haha! But considering I was lucky to get 1 article out a week this month, I consider that pretty good. With the nicer weather, I am not spending as much time indoors with the kids right now so it makes it hard to write.
