Welcome, Simi.

Ah but the cover. The spiral alludes to Fibonacci - so that's good. The colours work well. I'm not sure about the guy with the gun. Too obvious? Anyway, I'm not sure. It's not a no-no. Just a maybe. Possibly okay.

Thanks for sharing the info.

As for me... computer is playing up, personalized Google has disappeared. It was there, two hours later it wasn't.
I'm hoping to post some good news soooooooooooon.

On a serious note, I really, really - nope, I'd better shut up.

I was sent an email from Awesome Gang who have decided to diversify into audiobook ads. "...Go check out Awesomeaudiobook.com and submit your audiobook. Use coupon code AWESOMEGANG and that makes it free to submit! Not much in life is free but this is. "
I see that Awesome Gang are part of PrettyHot.com. If these newsletter ad sites keep splitting up, I think they make it more difficult for authors to have a large readership of the newsletters, yet we are still asked to pay more all the time.
Anyway, this one is free.
Other newsletters just include audiobooks.

In my newspaper today was an article about novels going out of fashion. In the new year year the paper tends to look at trends and it stated that TV box sets, for instance, were taking over and especially those that could match the intellectual satisfaction of novels.
No wonder we are all thinking that our sales are a bit down.

I hope you all will have a healthy new year too and if you're feeling a bit under the weather my suggestion is that you cosy up on the sofa with some hot chocolate and a good book. Sometimes you need to be good to yourself as well as the others.
I also hope you manage to keep to any ny resolutions for more than a week :o)
And I hope that all our writers are inspired and raring to go.
Please don't kick me!

Oh my heart goes out to you. I know the feeling. I've given up something I've really enjoyed doing but which required more time than I can give if I want to write, live and stay sane. Is there something you can give up?
As for the pile - that works. I put a note in my diary, just here and there, to spend a quarter of an hour on 'the pile' and I have a note under my screen which says 'Do one thing from the tray' and if I'm good and do one thing, I can turn it over and there's a pretty picture instead of the demanding notice. Sometimes it works!

A happy and healthy new year to you and yours. And I do wish you all success - more than you've ever had - in the coming year too.
Oh, and time - lots of time to write.

I do hope you want this for a novel...
Sorry, I've just been watching a murder mystery on TV! And like Theodore, I couldn't be sure about this!
