201765 Thank you, that's reassuring. Until a few weeks ago, I could see the sponsored ads and, of course, I could see where my ads showed up which helps with monitoring them.

I've just checked again and there's still no sign of any of my ads. Gee, we do have to trust our Zon, don't we?

201765 I wonder if .com Amazon customers see something different from me.

I cannot see my sponsored adverts on US Amazon. For example, if I look at some of my targeted authors, say Bess McBride, there are NO sponsored ads on the page, just a heading saying "Continue your search" or 'Also Bought' or 'Also viewed'.

Is this because the ads are not showing for Brit visitors to Amazon but are showing to the .com customers? Does anyone know, please?

Perhaps Amazon are keeping out bots, thinking that UK visitors should not be looking at .com pages.

BookStack specialises in boosting KU pages. I didn't notice much of a boost, if any. But at least the page reads didn't sink - they might have done, mightn't they, without the help of BookStack.

However... I shan't be using them again.

201765 Thank you! Happy Easter time to you all (I'm a bit late, I know. Excuse is that where I am at the moment there is only intermittent broadband. Sigh.)

But Spring has sprung here in the UK and the garden is full of colour and the sun is shining and everyone is out walking, cycling, even sitting on the beach. We only need a Bank Holiday with good weather (a rarity) and we Brits are light-headed!

Happy days to all those who celebrate this time of year.

201765 Hi Judy, #16 explains If you have a 'clean' book (most genres) that I could add on with a couple of sentences that is on sale at that date, then please message me and I'll see if I can put something together for one of you.

But don't worry you've probably not missed anything as I have realized that as I don't belong to any children's groups on Goodreads, I couldn't really get away with including children's books.

I hope somebody else may be a better fit for you.

Anna (yes me!) said: That's probably fine, Angela. If you message me the details, I'll try and include it, along with Alex's if it is reduced around 17th April, which is when I plan to put posts on Goodreads.

Haven't heard from you yet, Angela, so please message me urgently if you want me to include something.

Maybe marking them as spam has got rid of them for you, lucky you."

I've just checked my spam folder and there they are, in all their glory. One chap says he has 14,000 readers waiting to read and review. Another shirtily says she can't download a pdf from my site so please send to her email address, another says... and so it goes on.

201765 Oh Sam, my heart goes out to you. Of course your mind is on your good Dad going through so much all at the same time. But something is being done to improve his life, so smile for him, take a deep breath and soldier on for him. And cry. Nothing wrong with crying.

Bargain Booksy asked for feedback so I cautiously told them. They checked and said I did have fewer sales than expected (!) and they have offered a free promotion on something they are just starting up (I think) called BookStack. I shall have to wait and see.

201765 Ah... yes, thanks Dale, I vaguely remember that from my days of trying to teach others to persevere, but I have forgotten the numbers. There was something that had a '100' in it. This was about a quarter of a century ago, so things should have changed!

I've almost certainly thrown the notes away, and all that remains in my head is that visibility is essential - and we all know that. Some target figures can be useful.

Thanks also for the idea of the blog/tweetie thing. Yes please!

201765 On Wednesday 17th April, I plan to advertise One Dark Night (The Dark Moon Series #1) by Anna Faversham
in some Goodreads groups. I shall be saying something like "Time is running out to buy this book for 0.99" And, of course, I'll give a bit of a description of my historical romance. It's what the US calls clean and wholesome but does contain some violent scenes (smugglers - nasty lot, you just can't trust 'em).

If you have a 'clean' book (most genres) that I could add on with a couple of sentences that is on sale at that date, then please message me and I'll see if I can put something together for one of you.

Very happy to do this for you lovely lot. If I can make this acceptable, then I can do this for another person on another date.
