I mean i don't really know why she would want to be caught dead with the burnt out likes of me, but she laughs at my jokes, smiles at me all the time, she played with my hair once (i admit i have a weakness for that)...

Judged the situation wrong and wound up seeing her with her boyfriend and losing her as a friend.
2nd romantic fuckup:
Was being fucked with.
3rd romantic fuckup:
Waited too long, was friendzoned.

Two months, one week.

That's why i love James Hetfield so fucking much. He's overcome so much, from Cliff's death, being able to ditch Mustaine despite their former friendship, accepting Kirk as a member of the band (and Kirk Hammet himself... No words) and THEN to overcome alcoholism through MUSIC? My fucking hero.
I wish i could tell him how much 'The House That Jack Built' (all metal fans/former addicts, take a listen. It speaks so much) helped me.

One would think i'd have learned my lesson by now.
