It's amazing. It's the kind of show that you have to go back and watch again to pick up a lot of stuff you missed the first time around.

Fair point. I couldn't believe how detailed the artwork was especially for the full page layouts.
193869 I think the draw for me in this volume was who was going to be in the book and how they'd be portrayed. (Much like the Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover). I did not expect the short story at the end - and was wondering why that wasn't put into another issue or two.

No worries. I fully expect it will be at the bottom of most everyone's list. :)

193869 Finished Bitch Planet and Plate Tectonics today. I came around on the first (picked up the other available volumes on sale), and absolutely loved the second. Might even consider looking into the other volumes in Motin's series and try brushing off my high school French.

Me too. lol

193869 It might cause confusion with the movie? (Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey)?

Green Arrow and the Canaries' back door pilot was last week's episode I understand.

193869 Anti-climactic Arrow following the the Crisis. It seems particularly lazy to (view spoiler) Hoping for a great series finale.

193869 This is a re-read for me also. The first time I read it, I thought "To me, Saga is a blend of Romeo and Juliet and Dr. Strangelove, with a Game of Thrones sensibility toward its characters and a Star Wars flavor to its universe." and I still stand by that opinion. Though I will say I understood/picked up a lot more in this re-reading. Great intro to a great series.

Ok to air.

193869 Yeah, staggering out the shows like DC Universe does makes more sense. But here we are.
193869 Chad wrote: "Why not just let the group vote on the book from these nominations like normal?

I do think only three of the nominations came from people who finished the challenge."

Agreed, on both counts.

It was good to actually see/experience Eisner's work rather than just seeing a name on an award.

193869 Indeed. The same report said Batwoman might be looking at similar prospects.
