Hi everyone,If you are planning to meet up with other members in person, please have a read through our safety guide below – it’s very important to stay safe.
1) Always tell a family member or friend where you are going.
2) Consider taking a friend along to the first meeting.
3) Be sure to meet in a public place where lots of people are present.
4) Only meet with people you have spoken to ahead of time.
5) For safety in numbers, it may be best to only meet up if at least 4 people are definitely attending.
6) Never give your personal contact to people you don't know.
7) If somebody whom you have had no contact with turns up to your meeting, you should consider not letting them join in.
Disclaimer: Meet ups are not sanctioned by OSS or Emma Watson and they cannot be held responsible for any unsanctioned events.
If at any time, during a meet-up, you feel threatened, we encourage you to promptly contact appropriate law enforcement authorities.

An interesting article I found about Intersex today: 'I Didn't Know I Was Intersex — Until I Made a Film About an Intersex Character' the link is here: https://www.them.us/story/intersex-id...

You make a very valid point, Pam.
I think you're right and these things should always be taken into consideration, however sometimes (such as this time) we do need to try and fit it in around scheduling conflicts. Unfortunately on this occasion we don't have too much time as we need to collate all of the questions ready and send them over to Rupi for her to answer in early August. :)

I am asking you to create your own thread instead of steering other topics off of topic.
People will respond if they feel strongly enough.
If you continue to use these other threads, then your comments will be deleted.
Sam, Any further derailment of this thread and I shall delete your replies. This topic is to discuss MILK AND HONEY.Get back on topic please. Like I say if you want to discuss why feminism is not important then create your OWN thread.
If you've got a problem with that, then PM me.
Sam, lively debate we encourage - but not blatant attention seeking. As Florian says this is not the right place for such comments, please do start your own topic about why feminism isn't important and i'm sure you're "challenge" will b accepted.

:)
Sam, I would strongly advise that you create another thread of your own if you wish to argue that women already have equal rights... this clearly I not the right thread for that.Be warned though, if you do - you will be bombarded with critical responses :)
Have you read Milk and Honey yet? if so, please post your reviews below - we would love to know what you thought of it! :)
