Did your opinion of any of the characters change from A Game of Thrones?

This book, more than A Game of Thrones, focuses on the religions of Westeros and abroad. Did you like the way George RR Martin handled this often sticky subject?

Do you think Arya would have been better off staying in Kings Landing as a Lannister hostage?

One of the most underrated characters is Bronn. I love this dude. He is loyal to Tyrion and really quite entertaining. He makes a great side-kick to Tyrion.

Ser Alliser Thorne of the Night's Watch has shown up at King's Landing with the hand in a jar. I really don't know what is going to happen but I can't stand Alliser and neither can Tyrion or Jon. So I really hope Tyrion does something bad to Alliser. It would really make me happy.

Yes, I loved his 1, 2, 3.

I don't really have anything too intelligent to post here but I did like how Lady Hornwood showed interest in Ser Rodrik.

I have a lot to say here so I will use point forms:

-Tyrion knows his siblings are sleeping together. But do we know how he is so sure? Did he catch them or something?

-They decide to start the rumour of Shireen being Patchface's child. Can you spell JUVENILE?! What is this, grade 6 gossip spreading? This part actually made me roll my eyes at their behavior. lol It caught me off guard.

-I am curious about this chain Tyrion is having made. I know he has something up his sleeve with it.

-When Tyrion was on his way into the brothel I was pretty sure he was not about to do a whore. It is not his style any more. That secret closet entrance: sneaky, sneaky!

-I really don't mind Varys that much anymore but Littlefinger is still (to me) a weasel. I don't like him at all!

Yep definitely slap happy.

But Tyrion didn't seem to mind. He just kept on mocking. lol

Holy crap what a lot of action. I hope Yoren makes it outta' there alive!

Well it is March 3rd and I have one more chapter to read and I have reached my end of week #2 check point. I started early though. Really in order to finish the books in two months all you really need to do is read a chapter a day plus just a few days read two. These big books don't scare me no more!!

I saw an old group/buddy read that was called 'Read a Chapter a day A Song of Ice and Fire' or something like that. It would be hard to stop at one especially towards the end of the books. I seem to read the ends of books much faster than the beginnings.

Yeah these are books to read a little more alert. Sometimes I try to read one chapter before bed. But I have learned just to stop if I get sleepy instead.

Absolutely. I think that is why he said it.

Our Big Brother is supposedly tame compared to the Overseas ones. I don't know since I have only seen USA and Canada.

But this season there is supposed to be four people from other countries who have been on their Big Brother and I think two of them will go into Big Bro Canada.

It is silly; I know it's crap, but I love it.

Yeah Brendan it was a bit of a chore for me too. But I walked away for a bit and came back and read on.

This chapter was quite good. I really have a new understanding of Jorah. Poor guy.

He was talking about how he "begged her (Lynesse) favor to wear in the tourney". He knotted it around her arm. What the hell is a favor? I have never heard of this.

And that woman sounds horrible. He bent over backwards for her and nothing was ever good enough. Aw poor Jorah.

She would totally wear that!
