I’m thankful for my houseplants, since taking care of them has been a good form of self care in the past year.

Thanks for the clarification!
For the prompt, the book would need to be own voices and that “voice” would need to be the same as the one in the article. In this case, your narrator is marginalized but the author is a white man so the book isn’t “own voices”.
The “own voices” points aren’t possible for all the articles.
Hope that make sense!

ETA: Lost track of time so running back to my work meeting after the lunch break :P I'll add to the spreadsheet after!

Jen K, looks like you could put it under the splitting the lottery with a friend article, since it seems like a major theme of the book was friendship?
Rachel, the 1 minute = 1 page..."
That's a great series, Emily! I didn't love the later entries as much as the first one but that's mainly because I like the first one so much. Perfect choice for a read-a-thon!

I'm considering reading The Only Good Indians next as I was thinking it could fit with the article about ..."
I definitely don't want to generalize and say all Native Americans are the same. But I suspect it would very difficult to find options for different tribes so I think it's appropriate to apply the more general "Native American".
ETA: I think it would also work for Own Voices.

No, the mod in the group just didn’t know how to use the spreadsheet 🤦🏻♀️

Can you identify the 20 classic novels?

Today I ready 150 pages and finished A Good Girl's Guide to Murder I'm going to put it down for the missing children one for now but we can move it if needed.

Looks good to me!

I have that exact vacuum and love it. I even have the app so I can control it from my phone and it's pre-scheduled to run on certain days. The dog and cat look at it like it's the other pet they hate :P
