I finished Not on Fire, but Burning; it wasn't really for me, but it's a pretty fine piece of experimental speculative fiction. I'm now reading Riders by Veronica Rossi
I'm just starting Not on Fire, but Burning by Greg Hrbek. Unlike most of the books I pick up, I don't know anything about it, so I don't have any idea of what to expect:)

lol:)
That's a really good way of deciding whether or not to DNF something!
I'm reading The Widow's House by Daniel Abraham at the moment. I've tried to spread the books out since the last book in the series, The Spider's War got the publication date pushed back a couple of times. I'll be all caught up when it finally comes out next month though:)
Jim I haven't looked at how long ago we read The Scar, but having read it before won't automatically disqualify it if it long enough ago.
I would like to nominate The Vagrant by Peter Newman for fantasy. For SF, my nomination is Persona by Genevieve Valentine.
Oh Dreamer's Pool is getting such good feedback:) I can't wait to read it - it's on my list for March.Just finished Morning Star, and it was agreat finish to the series. Next up are Rapture by Kameron Hurley and Caliban's War, the second book in The Expanse series.
I ended up really liking Six of Crows; it is a very well-written fantasy heist with a fast moving story, but is left on a bit of cliffhanger. Fortunately the second and final book comes out later this year.I'm starting Morning Star, the last book in the Red Rising trilogy today.
I finished All the Birds in the Sky, which I really enjoyed. I'm now reading Planetfall by Emma Newman.Christine, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed Dreamer's Pool, I'm looking forward to reading that one myself. Fly by Night is a terrific little book:)
I finished City of Blades (really good - I liked it better than City of Stairs) and like Richard, I'm also reading All the Birds in the Sky.
I finished Infidel, and I did end up liking it even more than God's War (which I thought was good), although it was still a very intense book. I'm now about 1/3 through City of Blades, the follow up book to City of Stairs.
I'm a book hoarding sometime rereader who has run out of physical space. So now I buy ebooks for me and hardcopy for my kids...or if it something we have to have, like the new illustrated Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone:)
I just finished Infidel by Kameron Hurley, which was great; I think better than the first book in the trilogy, God's War, which we read as a BOTM here a little while back.I'm now reading The Fire Sermon by Francesca Haig.
Kathi:) Oh well, now I'm reading another book most of you have already read, Leviathan Wakes...the good news being I don't need to tell you anything about it, right?:)
I would like to nominate A Stranger in Olondria by Sofia Samatar for fantasy. For science fiction, I'll nominate Elysium by Jennifer Marie Brissett.
Candiss...let me know if it is too late to add these:) Sorry I didn't post this sooner.
