LoL. I was considering adding this one, the only problem? You beat me to it!
154447 Fahrenheit 45 - brrrr!
Catch 2

And one of my favourite books - Magic's Pawn - Magic's Paw
154447 Okay - A book named The Stan. Sign me up. That sounds amazing! :D
154447 nice ones!

New one:

The Velveteen Rabbi
154447 If you haven't listened to Cabin Pressure, the BBC radio series, you probably should. So much funny. They play a lot of word games, but this one strikes me as the right fit for this group. (it is in the episode Fitton)

Take a book title, knock off a letter and see if you can get a more interesting title.

Here are the ones mentioned in the show (that were not terrible)

Of Mice and Me
Three Men in a Boa
Far From The Madding Crow
A Dance to the Music of Tim
The da Vinci Cod
The Man With the Golden Gu

My addition for now is stealing theirs, but I have to because Breakers of the Cod sounds like an amazing book.

154447 I altered my keywords on the 4th and they were approved quickly after.
I added at least 2 categories to all of my books, but thus far I haven't seen myself in any of them. Perhaps it just takes longer than I think it should, or there is a cap on categories? Not sure.

154447 I have no idea! Sorry. It depends on the site.
Your anti-virus program it probably would have popped up if something happened, but best to run a scan to be sure, maybe with a few things!

154447 True, a fun glittery book cover would make for a good twitter gif ad!

Viruses, trojans, targeted ads, all sorts of stuff on your computer you don't want. So that they can steal your online banking info / email contacts / identity / recipe for your famous cornbread.

Anything they can!

Oh right! I forgot who I was for a second there!

154447 True. I forget that not all book cover designers would be subtle like I would and just have some glittery stars...

154447 Fusion Tables is a Google service that allows the transfer and sharing of scientific research files, mostly. It is also a hot bed of this kind of pirating junk.

Fortunately, it is run by Google, so shutting them down is easy and happens really quick once you submit a complaint to Google Service. I've done it... well... too many times...

New category!"

Oh sweet maker... then... my stuff.
...

No it isn't new at all.

154447 The best way to be #1 in a category is to make it yourself after all. That's why I did it!

Amazingly, that is a category!

154447 I accidentally found it! Hidden deep within the Amazon site, a way to determine what the secret categories are that you can unlock with keywords! I just edited my keywords and will see if this gets me into more categories! (in a few days once it is approved)

I know there are more than what is listed here, as I am in one not listed in this, but it might help you regardless.

Some people might know about this already, but others might not. It is about half way down the page.

Hopefully that works as a link.

154447 True... maybe flat out being dishonest isn't the way to go.

Still, I see 'people' on facebook that are furrsonas, drag queen aliases, and fictional characters all the time. Yet I hear people having problems with things like pen names, legitimate name changes, and other perfectly reasonable (to me) things.

I have no idea what to suggest anymore.

154447 This is a scam to get you to click, and an easy one to spot. :)

All of the links to 'read' and 'download' go to the same place, if you hover over it you will see the link address.

All of my books are there, but as Dwayne said - I have so many likes there than it would have been impossible by now to not have had a random person reach out to either him or me by now and mention something about discovering our work on there.

Since this labels them as free and not a pirate service, a fan wouldn't have thought twice about saying something if the books were there.

I am confident they do not have my book. They don't have your book. :) They have no books there at all, except maybe a few token public domain works to convince people it isn't a fishing scam.

Sleep well at night again!

154447 It really depends on Facebook Sue.
Perhaps avoid problems by not using the same info, such as birthday or cover photo, to keep them from noticing?

No idea, it is random.

154447 I am waiting for the day that this kind of thing is allowed on Amazon as your legitimate book cover.
