It's very interesting and fun. The main character is great and makes the story move quickly. I'm looking forward to finishing the series next year.

I started 1 new series this month:
Linear Tactical by Janie Crouch."

I did, Lauren. Very much so.

I immediately started reading book 3 in the trilogy, Island of Glass.

I won an ARC of Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone from Goodreads and it arrived this week, so I'll be reading that next.

Over the last few days I finished 2 books:
The Law (The Dresden Files #17.2) by Jim Butcher
Stars of Fortune (The Guardians Trilogy #1) by Nora Roberts
I moved right on to Bay of Sighs (The Guardians Trilogy #2) by Nora Roberts and am starting Past Purgatory (Bishop Security #4) By Debbie Baldwin today. I am also starting Dragonfly in Amber (Outlander #2) by Diana Gabaldon, but that will be read between other books.

I agree, Robin. Thanks.

I got caught up in 1 series this month:
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?

3. Did you move forward in any series (that you didn’t complete or finish)? How many?
I also moved forward in 1 series this month:
Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz (#2)
4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
They were all great reads, but I highly enjoyed A Court of Silver Flames (A Court of Thorns and Roses #4) by Sarah J. Maas. It's going to drive me crazy having to wait for the next book.
I was also pleasantly surprised by Cyclone (Linear Tactical #1) by Janie Crouch. It was not my usual read, but I look forward continuing the series.
5. Overall summary of your reading month?
7 books read and 3 ahead of my yearly goal. I'm pretty happy with that. That number includes 3 I read for a challenge which is good for me. I'm lucky to get 1 read most times.
