Plan to Read – Series
➞ No Way Out (Lucy Kincaid #16.5) by Allison Brennan
Thread of Fear (The Glass Sisters #1) by Laura Griffin
Sweet Revenge (Sisterhood #5) by Fern Michaels
A Court of Frost and Starlight (A Court of Thorns and Roses #3.1) by Sarah J. Maas
The Drawing of the Three (The Dark Tower #2) by Stephen King

I read Rise of the School for Good and Evil (The School for Good and Evil #0.5) by Soman Chainani, so I guess yes? I had already completed the series before this one came out, but it is considered part of the series.
2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?
I did. I started reading The Dark Tower series by Stephen King and will definitely continue it.
3. Did you move forward in any series (that you didn’t complete or finish)? How many?
I moved forward in 3 series:
In Death series by J.D. Robb (#13)
Fever series by Karen Marie Moning (#2)
Lucy Kincaid series by Allison Brennan (#16)
4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
All were great books. I highly enjoyed Rise of the School for Good and Evil because it told the beginning of the story. I also read Fever 1793 and found it very interesting.
5. Overall summary of your reading month?
6 books completed and 3 books ahead of my yearly goal. I'm happy since I'm on vacation for a few weeks this month and won't get much read.

Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson, 4 ★. Here's my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Bloodfever (Fever #2) by Karen Marie Moning, 4 ★. Here's my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I am now reading Cut and Run (Lucy Kincaid #16) by Allison Brennan and Band of Brothers by Stephen E. Ambrose.

I have started reading Seduction in Death (In Death #13) by J.D. Robb and am highly enjoying it.

2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?
I started 2 new series:
Her Majesty’s Royal Coven series by Juno Dawson - This is a new release and I will most definitely continue the series. I am patiently awaiting book 2.
The Beauchamp Family series by Melissa de la Cruz - I started this one because I enjoyed the TV show. Although the book is slightly different, I will continue the series. There is still a lot to learn.
I also read book 1 in the Wicked series by Lisa Jackson, but I don't count it since I read book 3 or 4 a few years ago.
3. Did you move forward in any series (that you didn’t complete or finish)? How many?
I moved forward in 3 series:
Lucy Kincaid series (#15) by Allison Brennan - I'm gonna be lost when we get caught up in this series.
Sisterhood series (#4) Fern Michaels - I love this group of women!
A Court of Thorns and Roses series (#3) by Sarah J. Maas - this author is amazing! She has yet to disappoint me.
4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns and Roses #3) by Sarah J. Maas - 5 ★ - incredible story telling and world/character building. It was action packed and stirred up every possible emotion one can have.
5. Overall summary of your reading month?
7 books! Now that I have found my happy place and started making sure I had "me" time my reading had improved and become even more enjoyable.

The Jury by Fern Michaels, 5 ★. Here's my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas, 5 ★. Here's my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I see you are a fan of A Court of Thorns and Roses series. I tried the first book in the series, but it didn't grab me the way it did some of reading friends. I will ..."
The first book took a bit to get into. Once I hit the halfway point I was hooked.

Band of Brothers is excellent! Did you see the TV series?"
I did and loved it.

✔ A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns and Roses #3) by Sarah J. Maas (completed on 5/31)
